I am only giving two stars because of the candid yams. I use to travel ANY distance to get this food but the last three times I... have had this food, it?s has been a progressive decline. I went in yesterday 10/15/2022 and ordered curry salmon with veggiesand none of it was seasoned. There was no salt, no pepper, no curry in the salmon(as ordered) or the chic peas, it all tastedthe same. It actually tasted like bland hospital food. The most delicious chicken roti I've ever had. It was so good my friend and I finished our to-go platters right outside before... we could even think to take a picture. I enjoy the food here quite a bit - I think the food alone would made this place a 4 star restaurant. The service, however, is... consistently bad. Ordering over the phone, they hang up. Asking yo add items to your order, they just say ?no?. No explanationof whether they?re sold out or the menu has changed (it didn?t seem like it had since it was still on the menu). Read more
First time trying this restaurant due to limited choices in the area that sell roti. The vegetable roti (I don?t eat meat) was... AMAZING! The fillings were definitely seasoned well. Portion size was great. The price matches the quality / quantity. I wouldcome back here again ???????? Read more
this was some of the best food i?ve had in new york, hands down. my friends and i got jerk chicken, chicken roti, jerk salmon,... and the veggie plate with curried chickpeas and potatoes, rice and beans, and collard greens. everything was phenomenal, packedwith flavor, fresh and hot, truly amazing food. the only item that we weren?t in love with was the yams which were a bit toosweet, but everything else was awesome. would definitely recommend!!!!! Ordered from here for lunch for my grandson and I. 1st off... delivery guy pointed out for me to check my food because of huge... oil spill on paper bag food was in. When i was unpacking food the smell was unpleasant. Once food was unpacked you can seeentrees were wrapped in saran wrap. Large amount of oil collected in wrapping and leaked out into bag. Cracked open the callaloo(spinach and okra)... ????. Looks like throwup. Nothing I ordered had meat. Veggies and rice shouldn't smell like this. 1st andlast time ordering from here. If I could give them less than one star I definitely will. I placed an order for 3 ppl, each oxtail, rice and cabbage. I paid... $82.00 dollars!!!! When the order came it was only one plate, ONE PLATE!!! And a cake I did not ordered. I called and a womantold she couldn't find my order in her system and that she sent a cake because someone else had complained and she thought itwas the same people. She said she'll call her manager. At the end her manager told her there was nothing they could do. Theytake advantage of anyone and everyone!!!!! Read more
