A great place to eat supper! The service is excellent and the food is always fresh. They have a huge menu so there are a lot of... options to choose from. Everytime I go I always get the scallion pancakes. They're light and crisp. Recently I tried thegeneral tso chicken which is amazing! The portions are huge too. It is cash only so make sure you have cash on hand. I got thevegetable pan fried noodles which is definitely sharable. Read more

i like the portion of vegetable. The pork chop is acceptable but with a weird acidity taste. the noodle was not regular... shanghaiese noodle, not flour noodle, do not know what it is made of, it was puffy and thin and weird. forget about the broth, plain like water. **this is the house signature pork chop noodle . do not order it. I remembered coming here before COVID?s and it was awesome food. However now I just want to post this review and get the... pictures I took off my phone. Ideally forget about this meal as I rarely give bad ones. Total embarrassment on this restaurantin my opinion. I know the dining in part is hard but get out of the sit in business if you are going to serve your customer intake out container and paper plate. Seriously!!!?? Why!!? Also the service is garbage. We ask for a serving spoon and got onefor 5 dishes. The food is at best so so. And some has fishy taste. I am sorry but I hope this has to change. Not worth thevisit. Don?t order the truffle soup dumplings as it sounds better than it tastes. I actually have nothing good to say aboutthis place. Read more

My friend took us to this casual Shanghai restaurant in Chinatown. First on the positives, the service was responsive and kind.... The food was pretty good and the pricing was reasonable for Manhattan. Dinner for 4 people and three beers for $125 bucks. Thesoup dumplings or xiaolong bao was solid. I recommend the truffle oil xiaolong Bell over the traditional one for thisplace. The facilities is just a half a notch above hole in the wall. Your food is served on plastic plates. You get a plasticspoon and disposable chopsticks. Your water or hot tea comes in a paper cup. I think that's okay as we're in Chinatown and it'spart of this place's charm. If you're looking for a fancy place, this is not it. If you're looking for a casual place and lovesto charm of what I just described, you'll like this place. As for the food, it was pretty good. I lived in Shanghai for 5years, so I'll say this was not particularly authentic. Most of the menus what you'll see at most Chinese restaurants inManhattan, which has a noticeable Cantonese bias. Overall, I would be happy to come here again. I probably wouldn't go out myway to come here. Read more

The stand out dishes I had here are the "Tangerine Beef" and the "Fried tiny buns w pork." Also had the "Shanghai lo mien w... shrimp" and the "Shredded pork with garlic sauce" but those were just average, I wouldn't order those again. Apparently the soupdumplings are good here so I'd try those next time. Read more
