Dined here for lunch while visiting the city. The wait after arriving for our reserved time was minimal but well worth it. The... watermelon cello was light and refreshing, which was much appreciated on a hot summer day. The olive oil accompanying the breadwas rich in flavor. All three diner in our group enjoyed our meals and the dining experience. Staff were all pleasant andwelcoming. Not to overlook the beautiful decor and bright atmosphere. I would highly recommend. Made a reservation the night before. Service was excellent. I got the pork shoulder, delicious. The gnocchi was basic but very... fresh. Drinks were amazing. Definitely get the Otto! Atmosphere very pleasant as well. Only trouble was finding it, go into theeataly all the way at the back, then up the elevators. Read more
Unrealistically beautiful Italian restaurant in Manhattan! I fell in love with this interior right off the bat. I adored the... interior design until the pasta appeared! What a pasta that was!!! Same goes with the rice balls and a delicious cappuccino,thanks Sonya! The desserts are all made from super tasty and natural ingredients. I recommend everyone to visit this place. Great views and a little touristy. The decorations change based on seasons and it is very nice! Unfortunately I went at a time... where the time is transitioning from winter to spring. Food was not bad but wasn't much to my liking, but it seems to beauthentic Italian food. Read more
This place was a little over priced. The photo ops are honestly the best part of this place. The scenery is simply gorgeous. The... food was okay, drinks as well. The only thing that stood out was the crispy potatoes, they were a little salty but also prettygood. Read more
I had the ravioli - amazing. Great wines. And what was unexpectedly a pleasant surprise? the bread and the spreads. I?m... normally not a fan of bread but I was hungry this day. Serra by Birreria is BEAUTIFUL. There?s a great ambiance and the staff is super nice. Service here was outstanding. They were... very quick to seat us down, very quick to bring menus and take our orders. It was an above and beyond service for sure? ourwaiter was very friendly, gave us suggestions when needed, responded briefly and quickly every question we had. On the otherhand, food can definitely be better and that?s the reason why I only gave 3/5 stars. They just changed their menu for Autumnplates and let me tell you? Every plate we ordered was bland, good looking for the eyes but just lacking of flavor. I wouldn?tcome back for food? maybe drinks, we didn?t have anything other than seltzer water, but almost every table was having drinks andthey looked pretty good. If I were you, I wouldn?t come on an empty stomach like we did cause you will not be satisfied, theydefinitely need to add more love to their cooking. Read more
One of the nicer settings for a meal. The restaurant is on the highest level of the Eately building with a glass roof that can... be opened. We've now come here for dinner during winter when the roof is fully covered (but still offers a view of the sky) andfor lunch in summer when sections of the roof are opened. While different, both provide for a wonderful setting for a meal,complemented by the interior decor. The food is good, well presented and I think appropriately priced for a restaurant offeringsuch a nice setting. Read more
