One of the reassuring Italian chains in NYC would for sure be @serafinanewyork ! Not my first time here, and for this occasion... my favorite out of all would be the truffles crostini, which is on the special menu. The bread was not that crunchy, but thetruffles spread tasted flavorful and really amazing! Both being truffles, the crostini was definitely better than the pasta inmy opinion! Read more

If you are looking for one of the best Italian restaurants in New York City that makes the best dishes and deserts, then I... highly recommend Serafina restaurant. The waiters are attentive, helpful, and provides excellent customer service. The set up ofeach of the tables are classic, organized, and very impressive. Moreover, the meal that I ordered was very delightful. I highlyrecommend the Serafina. Read more

Good pasta and hearty portions. The service and ambiance were great. The pollo Milanese was huge! But my god this place is... pricey. Spent $200 on two entrees, 4 drinks and an appetizer. Was definitely one of my more expensive meals while in NYC, and Idon’t think it was worth the price. It was good though. Read more

My daughter is staying at the Frederick Hotel next door, and we were hungry. We kept it simple, meatball appetizers, and she... had pasta with mussels. The food was very tasty, veryI pleasant servers. You scan the barcode at the table, to access the menu. This might be tricky for some people. I'm not a difficult guy, but the water was lukewarm, and not refilled. Also my breadwith meatballs was toasted- but rock hard. I couldn't bite into it. Very nice atmosphere, and call for a reservation to sit ata good table outside. I had to circle the area a few times to find parking. Read more

Plates were good but very overpriced. Parpadelle short ribs were very tasty. Carbonara was ok. Space was trendy and of course in... a hot location. All the servers and staff were really nice, and perhaps the part that I liked the most about the experience.Cocktails were also good, strong but not memorable. I’d skip on the tiramisu, I didn’t personally like it. It seems like thekind of place that would be perfect to enjoy a couple of drinks, seating outside with friends. Great place to see and be seenbut not a memorable culinary experience. Read more

I stayed at The Fredrick Hotel and this restaurant is in some building, Ordered truffle pizza and it was perfect but what I... didn’t like is altitude of the guy he looks like manager tall guy with tattoos, he was little bit disrespectful with hisaltitude, when I make order he didn’t say a word just turn around and left table , he barely said what you whant , you can’tbe so full of yourself. And coming on dinner with friends, waiter spilled drink on my friend and he was smiling all night, hedidn’t even look that he is sorry, and we sited outside, before they close they take all tables and chairs on one place , thisguy who was doing that was throwing chairs and tables so hard I mean obvious he whanted us out but that is not how job is donein serious restaurants! I visited far worse places and they had at least better stuff who acted nice and polite! Read more

This place is average. For what seems to be a high end Italian place it wasn’t great. The cocktails were great. Should’ve... known not to order the lobster ravioli when the waiter told us that they were out of lobster when we ordered the lobster overspaghetti. We split a crab cake and lobster ravioli. For a 23 dollar appetizer the crab cake was sub par and not very much. Thelobster ravioli, I’m pretty sure we’re frozen. The outside was chewy and rubbery and some of the insides were still cool.Could’ve probably gone to Trader Joe’s and grabbed some frozen lobster ravioli and crab cakes for a quarter of the pricethat we paid at this location. Definitely steering away from this place next time I’m around NYC. Read more
