I’ve been a loyal customer of sauce for 1.5+ years, but they recently changed their pizza from New York style to thin crust... and it’s just not the same at all. So sad writing this, because it used to be my favorite pizza place, but now I don’t wantto go anymore :( you’re better off going to someplace else. I hope they bring back their thicker crust one day. The pizza at this place used to be great; good sauce and great flavors with the perfect crust. However that’s changed with the... new paper thin crust (as shown in the picture) the pizza is just not filling or appetizing at all. They should allow the optionfor the customer to choose the paper thin crust or a regular crust pizza. It seems like a cheap way of cutting corners on thepizzerias end. Not a sniff of flop, insane amounts of pepperoni coverage, a base that is thin, chewy yet crunchy on the crust and just unique... to NYC standard pizza bases. This is as good as it comes people, as good as it comes. Dip it in the sauce. Read more
Sauce Pizzeria was on my bucket list ever since Dave from Barstool gave it his famous/infamous 9.1 review. I’m glad to say it... lives up to he hype! My favorites (they are all really excellent btw) from best to least is classic cheese, vodka, pepperoni,then upside down. Read more
Off the charts good! May have the best regular slice on NY! The sauce was perfectly seasoned. The sicilian was also excellent.... The crust was crispy on the bottom, light and airy in the middle. Cooked all the way through and not doughy at all. Read more
