Satacos is located in a lively area of Washington Heights. They share their place with an Italian restaurant so you can order... from both places if you want which was cool. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to sit outside. Service was fastand the staff was kind and attentive. I got the birria tacos and my partner the chicken flautas. Everything was good! The place looks alright, nothing special. One side of the restaurant serves mexican food, whilst the other serves Italian, which... struck me as quite odd. I had to wait a bit to be seated because the host was sitting in the back. The house was practicallyempty, so I sat on the porch as they don?t have AC inside (Something to be mindful of in the summer) After being seated, ittook them almost 10 minutes to take my order, and I also had to ask for lime wedges for my corona. Nevertheless, what I thoughtwas going to be a 2 star experience quickly improved (and greatly) by the lovely Burrito Bowl, which was very well season,homely, creamy and with a LOT of pullet pork. Props for the kitchen for saving the whole experience. The bowl only costed 12dollars for a very big serving. Definitely worth coming back and checking out the rest of the menu. Read more

I was craving birria tacos, you know the tacos with the savory beef dipping (so good). I ordered the birria quesadillas,... churros, and esquites corn and OMG I felt like I was at a taco truck in Cali!! This place has great food and speedy delivery.
