Pretty amazing Italian restaurant in the west village. Inside and outside seating on a relatively quiet street. The interior is... very nicely decorated, lightly good and balanced. Full bar, however fairly small. Found all dishes to be really well preparedand plated. Deserts are not too sweet but just right. Reservations suggested. Highly recommended. Read more

I have been to this AMAZING restaurant quite a few times. By far my go-to Italian restaurant in Manhattan. Food; Delicious and... fresh. We started off with a thirst-quenching Gazpacho - creamy, rich but fresh and a little minty. We also had the Branzinofish! So perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It comes with a side of potatoes and spinach. We were a littlehungry so we went for the Bolognese pasta as well - if you want to share one place between two people, they give you two plates;excellent service! The tiramisu… ah! I love the tiramisu at Sant Ambroeus, perfectly creamy and not too sweet. A trulyauthentic tiramisu! We had two bottle of Vermentino - an east to drink white wine, not too dry, not too sweet, just cool andcrispy! Read more

Food was good, service not so great, and the AC seemed not working. We went there on a Sunday. Even though their website... mentioned they participate at NYC restaurants week on Sundays, first they refused us to give us the restaurant week menu. Aftershowing the website, they agreed. Besides that, the food was decent. Read more

I enjoyed this place and not just because I was over-served while I was at the Yankees game before coming here. They have a... great array of options on the menu. I don’t know many other places you can go to that have great lobster tacos and meatballsthe size of your face. To top it off they had Red Stripe on the menu. Hooray for beer. Read more

Super nice staff. Well attended during my meal. Even gave me new eggs because I was unaware of the toast that came with the... meal. I needed gluten free bread which they nice obliged. Would definitely return. Read more

First customers on a nice Tuesday fall morning. We had a 35 minute wait to get an omelet and french toast. Drinks were already... cold when it came to our table. It was an okay experience. I would still get their pastries. But you can get the same deliciousflavor for cheap elsewhere. Nice to dine here on special occasions. Read more

Had a good brunch at Sant Ambroeus in West Village. We had avocado toast, pancakes and tomato mozzarella panini. Small portions... but delicious. Ordered cappuccino and jasmine tea as well. Read more
