The tagliatelle truffle pasta is the most delicious thing I have taste in my 50 years on earth. Amazing. Oh yes, for your... appetizer, you must try the crispy artichokes (not pictured - we ate it too fast). ?? Read more

We were treated very well by our sweet server Precious when we had dinner June 12, 2022. Enjoyed a drink and had the Yellowfin... Tartare, Sea Bass, & Steak Frites. Then polished it off with their delicious NY Cheesecake. Superb!!! Read more

(12/17/2021) We visited Rue 57 fifteen years ago for the first time and it's as good today as it was then! It's our definite... MUST visit when we are in town. We sat at the bar, had tremendous service, shared some food and wine and it could not have beenbetter! The atmosphere is quintessential New York, lots of hustle & bustle, along with great people watching. OH, and if youhappen to order the Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare as we did, be sure to ask for more of the chips, you will need them !! ENJOY! Read more

Good foods and Good atmosphere I had a dinner with my friends and it was good experience. Every each of dishes were delicious... without sushi. I don’t understand why they offer sushi and roll. This is pretty good french & american place. Appetizersashimi was really bad. Is that for traveller? Onion Soup, Burrata cheese and Steak were delicious and wine and desserts alsogood. Read more

I love this iconic French restaurant on the corner of 6th Avenue and 57th Street, especially now with all Christmas decorations... you truly can experience that holiday spirit. I wasn't there for a quiet some time and it seems that they have updated theirmenu and added separate sushi menu. I have tried this time and can recommend their truffle pasta and French onionsoup. Although we just walked in and were almost immediately seated, reservation is recommended Read more

The wait staff were excellent, the managers were lacking greatly. The drinks were well made. We had a reservation for 930, but... were early and were seated by 9:20pm. We selected this restaurant because I had wanted sushi and my husband a burger. The menustated that sushi was served until 10pm but upon being seated, we were told that they were not serving it any longer which wassuch a disappointment as I literally just saw three other people recieve rolls when I was waiting at the bar to be seated. Theylost out on a large portion of my sale because of it as the only thing that I was interested in otherwise was the French onionsoup. That, however, was amazing and I highly recommend it. My husband ordered the burger with bacon. He normally does not sayanything about his food so I was surprised that he said he was disappointed with it. He said that he expected a bit more for a$27 burger; the ingredients seemed cheap quality. He specifically said that the bun felt like a 15 cent bun and the bacon wasgood, but there was only one slice. Our waiter was really impressive and attentive. I'd recommend this restaurant but only gaveit a 4 star rating as our experience wasn't amazing compared with what I am use to for NYC dining. Honestly, I think that youcan get a better experience and value for your meal if you travel west a few blocks further. Read more
