So many people recommended this establishment to us. Malay/Indonesian Halal food in Manhattan that was apparently the bomb. We... ordered the Singapore Noodles and Malaysian noodles. To our shock, the dishes arrived in 5 minutes. Not a good sign. When wetried the food it was pretty bland. One of the dishes was doused in sauce and was frankly inedible after the first couple ofbites. The drinks were okay. Something tells me we ordered the wrong dishes at Raasa or maybe they were having an off day. Butour experience here was pretty forgettable on the count we took two trains to get here. Maybe our next experience will bebetter. I?d be better off ordering the meat dishes as those seem to be their speciality - just a guess. Read more

My wife and I came here for dinner after looking for a great halal restaurant in lower manhattan. We came across Rasa and... decided to get it out, we were tired of the middle eastern food, which is everywhere. Rasa hit the spot! The restaurant was veryclean and the staff was really nice and attentive. We didn?t have to wait long to receive our food and the staff helped usfigure out what was the best dishes to get. We really did enjoy our time there. It?s a great halal spot and it?s nice trying outdifferent types of food from other cultures. I would recommend coming here with your significant other or your family especiallyif you eat halal food, it?s a great spot!! Read more

What a cute little halal place I end up finding ????Love the vibe, the food was amazing , service was wonderful ??Restroom was... clean. First time trying Malaysian food; tried 1 mock tails ,1 snack, 1 noodles & 1 dessert. Loved almost all of them. As ahalal place I didn?t expect a bar, that?s the reason I took 1 star out! I hope in future it becomes strictly halal! It?s agenuine request to the owner! I know you wanna get more business but as a halal place we can?t encourage people to drink ! It?salso encouraging to Muslims, which we do not want. I will be back soon, thank you ! Read more

I don?t eat Malaysian food often, but if I do, it will definitely be at Rasa!! You honestly cannot go wrong with anything on the... menu but definitely get a teh tarik, a few apps, and share the mains! The curry with the roti and nasi lemak was *chefs kissss*and all the portions were perfect. Remember not to skip dessert! ????????? Read more

A really local, home-y tasting Malaysian restaurant @rasanyc that made me feel like I?m back in Asia. The chicken rice is... Malaysian style, which is subtly different from Singaporean style but very amazing as well. I was still thinking about it thenext day! ???? Kueh teow was yummy too even though too oily for me personally. Didn?t think the combo appetizer was that greatbecause I only liked the satay chicken as the other puffs were too dry. Overall they have generously portioned and tasty dishes.Would come back for the chicken rice for sure! Read more
