Marlene was the single best server my pops and I had on our entire vacation. She had the sense of humour that belongs on a talk... show. They kept our drinks full and made us feel like vip guests. Marlene and Sylvia brought a free bday cake. If you want aquality night out next to Times Square make sure you request Marlene?s section! I booked a table for 4 for drinks. It was very easy. We arrived and were shown to our table. The views were amazing from the... lounge no matter where you were sitting. The only annoying part was the servers coming to the table when you are not even halfway through your drink asking do you want another. Very pushy to give you another drink. As a local, I usually avoid Times Square, but it's good to know this place exists. It's called R Lounge since it is in the... Renaissance Hotel -- didn't realize this until getting lost trying to find it! Awesome that it is not very crowded, despite itslocation. Like other people mention the manager of the place is awesome, but individual servers can be inattentive. Got theburger and was happy with my choice. Read more
What a fantastic place! I?m so glad I got to stay here and enjoy this place. The view is indescribable you just have to see it... for yourself. It?s an amazing photo op of Times Square. Get there super early to be standing in line that way you can get thefront window seats which has the best views!!! Read more
LOVED this bar!! Most amazing view of Times Square! Great perspective instead of being so high. Managed to get a great table at... the front, by the window too! A hidden gem for any trip to NYC!! In such a busy place as Times Square, I was amazed at how spacious and nice this place was! I... went 2-3 times and back when I went it was open for lunch but this can make a great dinner spot too!
