We had several friends recommend Quality Italian before our trip. It was our last day in town and I was able to get a lunch... reservation. This is a very nice restaurant. The staff was welcoming. Our waiter was great and took the time to help us pick outour perfect meal. They are obviously known for the Chicken Parm Pizza and it is definitely a must have! My daughter got thePotato and Robiola Gnocchi. She said it was the best dish she's ever had. She's still talking about it 2 weeks later! Fordessert, I highly recommend the Ferrero Rocher Gelato and Tiramisu Luci. Both were top notch! Without question, this will be astop for us on future visits! Read more

This week we take you to our good friends : @qualityitalian, located in midtown steps away fromCentral Park Quality Italian is a great date night option. We started off with some sparkling wine and then moved on to redwine. We ordered the guac genovese and the prosciutto for our appetizers, and they were both great. The chicken Parm pizza wasamazing. I really want to give them a 5 but they are VERY stuffy and stiff-lipped. Service is highly professional but TOO rigid! After... passing approximately 10-12 employees before getting to the dining area, only 1 smiled...ONE! They are quick to acknowledge youand usher you to your designated area but they really need to loosen up and be more relaxed, inviting and personable. Aside fromthe Service, the food is phenomenal! The Italian Guacamole was a pleasant surprise. The Focaccia is light, airy, buttery and hasa Sesame seed crust. They need to add 2 more pieces to make it just enough for the portion of Guacamole served. We LOVED thebread. The Guac also came with a housemade Pepperoncini sauce. It's definitely needed with the Guac but on its own, can stand abit more saltiness. Good though. They also had Cast Iron Garlic Buns, that came piping hot, pillowy, salty and savory. We usedthose to sop up the rich Filet Mignon Fusilli Ragu. It was rich and hearty. We didn't want to be uncouth and lick the bowl. Hadthe Caesar, which is DIVINE!!!!!!! We also had the luscious Pesto Malfaldine, which is Broccoli Rabe Pesto mixed with whattasted like a housemade Italian sausage mix with lots of delicious fennel! We also had the Special Spicy Lobster and ShrimpToast. It was anything but spicy. Lobster was steamed perfectly but needed flavor. The broth was mild and we only had one (1)shrimp. The toast was supposed to be a Smoked Tomato but tasted only of Smoked Paprika. It was the most disappointing dish ofthe evening and it was still a decent dish, just didnt live up to it's promise. We took the $76 Chicken Parmesan Pizza to go. Itis DELISH and comes with an Arugula salad. The two glasses of Chianti and Coppa Barolo were nice accompaniments, especially theBarolo. Food is very much on the pricey side but everything there tasted amazing. The best thing on the menu is the tomahawk ribeye... steak and it's a great looking restaurant on the inside. Read more

This place surprised me. The food was wonderful and the dishes plentiful, especially the desserts! Pasta was cooked to... perfection, the veal was good and the tiramisu was one of the best I've had in a while. Recommend checking this place out forsure! Read more
