Employees at this location are disgusting, lack hygiene and common sense. I went to this location last week and the employee... preparing the toppings on the sandwiches coughs right over all the food. She didn?t even bother to cover her mouth or apologize.Just disgusting especially with the flu and Covid going around. Her appearance also lacked professional. Unfortunately not very impressed. The Mac and cheese was OK but the meatball sandwich was well below average (honestly... sub-Domino's level). Moreover, the prices were actually higher than the average NYC deli in spite of quality that wassignificantly below that average. Selection of sandwiches wasn't that interesting either. The food is mediocre at best, but it?s one of the more reasonably-priced places in the area. I do not see how this restaurant... has garnered a > 4-star rating. The service is, and has been subpar for months. The staff has a poor work ethic, the fountainsoda machine is always malfunctioning, and the general appearance of this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. One worker justnow had a mask on, but it wasn?t covering his mouth or nose?just on his chin. Beyond looking clueless, he couldn?t tell me if myorder had been made after I waited ten minutes, so I just left. One would think with multiple workers, they could handle acouple customers, but it looked like only one person of the four I saw was actually doing any work.
