I ordered from Popeye's at 191st St. Even though the app says that my order was delivered, my order never came. I've been trying... to call them for an hour. No one picks up the phone. Both Grubhub and Google show that the restaurant is open. I can't figureout why they would take my money, not deliver the food, and not pick up the phone. This has never happened to me before. I don't know if it was because I order the big box that is a $6.00 dollars special, but the piece of chicken that I received it... was super dry and hard as a rock. To be honest I didn't eat anything from the box after I tasted the chicken. This is not theway you keep your customers coming back. ???? Read more
Wow I was really impressed with how the young managed to ruin my order from giving me a spicy instead of a non-spicy sandwich to... charging my card for my entire meal when I specifically asked for them to take a portion of it from my card and to accept mycash payment for the difference. Not only did they charge my card for the full amount without my consent but they also neglectedto inform me of what was about to happen. Simply stating ?swipe your card first? to my question of ?Can I pay part with cash andthe remainder on the card??. All in all a terrible experience. I will never go back to this Popeyes specifically, another onemaybe, but this store?s staff and procedures are abhorrent. Read more
The chicken is usually excellent. However, very frequently one's order is not what is actually placed in the takeout box. The... server usually closes the box quickly, preventing the customer's examination of its contents. Especially when the establishmentis crowded, one is loathe to insist on opening it. The lady did not give me the complete meal and when I came back did not accept her mistake. Evidently, the cheesecake that I had... to take, she confused that with the pecan pie. She was rude and discussed what I complained about to another customer right infront of me. I left coz did not want to argue with her. Sadly, there is zero customer satisfaction to many's customers but beingin the locality with this kind of franchise is a monopoly. Read more
I love going to this popeyes always fresh chicken. They are very nice. Always clean. It be pack but they fast so you don't wait... that long. Only issue is they always forget something. There's a few times I pay for what I order and when I get home is notthere I SO hate that. So please check your food before leaving. Read more
