I ordered buffo wings, very tasty, but no carrots or celery, what the hell man,
So I must say that from the moment my mom & I walked in we both were satisfied with the look of the chicken. Full staff & plus... the cook had just put out fresh chicken which was looking mighty delicious. I wanted it all!! I enjoyed my Chicken sandwich butrealized the prices are different from 149th Grandconcurse location which I mostly order from at $3.99. But here it was $4.99, Icould be wrong but will check. The Popeyes in Washington Heights must be one of the worst fast-food locations in my area. I ordered a fish sandwich to go, the... staff gave me my order, went home, started eating my sandwich, and it was CHICKEN! I was provided with was wrapped in a fishsandwich foil. I called the manager, was not sympathetic, then offered me an extra sandwich for the mistake. I went back to thestore; as soon I entered, the front cashier spotted me and made a side comment to her colleague, and they both started laughing.I don't know why this was funny. If they are young and immature, I can understand, but the monitoring of staff must increase inthe store. I finally received my sandwich 12 minutes later and return home to see my sandwich had two buns with tartar sauce inbetween the buns. What type of quality monitoring and control is happening? I called the manager, and she was not even ashamed.I have to tell her that I was calling the regional manager, and she started saying, sorry, please don't call. Unacceptable! Read more
The service is slow, dont order online on the app because they wont start making your food until you get there and ask them... whats going on (meaning you stand in line anyway). Its unfortunate but the ice machine looks like it has never been cleaned withblack stuff growing inside of it. Seems to have low levels of hygene and as far as Popeyes go, this one is pretty bad. If yourecoming here to get the new chicken sandwich, I recommend going elsewhere. They arent made to order like most popeyes and theyjust have a bunch waiting out. The line was almost out the door when I went, so we had to wait about 15 minutes before we served. We were ordering for the... team, so we had a large order (13 classic chicken sandwiches, 13 spicy chicken sandwiches, and 7 large fries), but that did notstop the staff from putting their best into the quality and service. It only took about another 15 minutes after ordering to getall our food. We enjoyed our food and understood all the hype regarding the chicken sandwich. Would definitely come again whenin the area.
