Been coming here a while. Frites are amazing, service is always quick, and generally speaking the place is usually hard to sit... in to eat. People that know this place love this place, and it always shows every time I go back. Would love for them so servemultiple kinds of dry seasoning instead of just a little salt, but they do have so many options for sauce, it will make yourhead explode first time you see the menu. Wow! The fries here are amazing but what really makes them shine are the sauces. The place is small so when it?s busy there... isn?t much space so go early in the day or take your fries to go. You cannot go wrong with fries! Location is good. The interior has this old bar vibes. We got the Mexican ketchup on the side.... You can buy 3 sauces with your order for cheap. Pretty good! Need to try all the flavours. Read more
My college go to spot. Came here for the first time in seven years and I?m glad they are back after their store tragically... burned down a few years back. The wooden tables and chairs give me comfort as I put the fries in the hole in the table made justfor placing the fries. I recommend the mushroom sauce, and the garlic one! This is a beautiful, cozy restaurant serving amazing Frites. The service is quick and there is enough seating inside. The Frites... are delicious, but could definitely do with a bit more salt and some chili powder. Some of the sauses do contain fish and/oreggs. So don't assume anything. But they have an allergy guide with them. So feel free to ask to look at it first beforeselecting. I also think 3 sauces are a lot for a regular sized fries. If you are also taking the free ketchup, I would stick tojust 1-2 sauces. Read more
In the heart of Greenwich Village across from the famous Cafe Wha? The fries are delicious and they have several dipping sauces... that are amazing.
