Taking a stroll through Manhattan, and it must have been my lucky day because Pokeworks was given out free bowls for their grand... opening. How can you pass that up!? Let me set the record straight... Poke is not just raw fish, as I had previously believed. There were a few cooked options you can add to your selection, with plenty of mix-ins to choose from. You really can't go wrongwith this dish. Forget what you've heard and give it a shot! Read more

I am updating my review to 1 star from 5. The quality fell off a cliff. Every time I went there it kept getting worse. Today it... was probably last time I went - the ?crispy? onion was soggy, the rice was probably sitting in the rice cooker for 24h, therewere chunks of it that was rock hard, others chewy. I ordered 3 proteins, they either forgot one or the size of the proteinportion was reduced to a joke size. Finally, they simply forgot one topping. The old pictures you see here on Google maps, andthe pictures from the business owners, have nothing to do with what you are going to get now. Very disappointed. Read more

I ordered from my hotel room and the deliver was pretty quick. Everything was fresh, I just think they are able to skimp on the... ahi because of how they shred it, it's more of a sprinkle topping. Besides that it was really tasty. Read more

Love the food & the aesthetic! The build your own poke bowl was great, and only $15 (which is average for NYC). Heads up - the... spicy furikake has a kick! Pokeworks is also gluten-free friendly which has me PUMPED!! Read more

YUMMY! I happened to walk by during their grand opening and was offered a free bowl as a trial. I am usually ?poke-lite? but was... intrigued to try this place! The food was really fresh and tasty? I loved the spicy salmon. Will be back. I work in marketingand offering a free bowl was such a great idea. I know the expense, but you?ve successfully converted a new customer! (And I?vebeen telling ALL MY FRIENDS about it!) Read more

Great experience & amazing food at Pokeworks. The company was having a "training day" at this location before the first day of... officially opening. Thankfully, I was walking by & got a free bowl ???????? First off, when ordering a large portion ofprotein, understand, it's a LARGE portion! I was actually very pleased to see the employer continue to put more & more shrimpinto the bowl...however, for some it may be too much, so know what you can handle when it comes to the meat or tofu. Iappreciated the atmosphere & each employer presented a flattering & professional attitude. The food was delicious, DELICIOUS, ITELL YOU!.. Go check it out since you must fill your belly with some pokeworks ???? I created my own bowl with white rice, cilantro, shrimp, pineapple, crab salad, cucumbers, corn, green onions, avocados, sesame seeds, & pokeworks classic sauce. Read more
