Was overcharged and very poorly attended to. Linda, who was working the registrar, was not listening to us when we were... ordering. She continuously interrupted me while I ordered and proceeded to give me attitude about why I wasn't telling her myorder. My boyfriend and I got one drink each and payed in meal swipes. She swiped our card four times, which I thought wasstrange. It should have only been two swipes. I asked her why she swiped our card four times, and received the answer, "youthought I swiped four times, but I swiped two," blatantly disregarding the fact that my boyfriend and I were watching her makethe transaction. We checked the meal swipe balance afterwards, and three swipes were deducted. I never got my food, so that'sabout $30 for two coffees. Absolutely ridiculous. Read more

The coffee was the best I've ever had, and the gluten-free buns they use have great texture and taste!

It's hard to notice, but it's apparent once you're inside NYU's famous Kimmel center. They usually have 1 register closed in the... morning so arrive 5 minutes early if you intend to use this cafe. Otherwise, it's pretty quaint, there's plenty of seating, andit's usually never crowded. It's typical, but that's the way it should be. Read more

A typical Peet's Coffee location. Reasonably priced drinks and snacks with friendly service. You know what you are going to get... at a chain coffee store, and this location is no exception. It can get a little crowded so make sure to avoid the rush ifpossible. Read more

Turnaround for drinks is fairly quick even when they're swamped, but hot sandwiches take a little longer. Occasionally have my... drink order lost in the chaos if it's busy, but they're quick to catch their mistake and make it right away. Read more

Peets is the most underrated dining option at NYU. Unlike Starbucks, you can get food and coffee for a meal-swipe (of course,... you can also use dining dollars or campus cash). The staff is extremely kind, very attentive, and they play really good music. The coffee drinks are delicious, and beat Starbucks on taste, price, and level of caffeine per cup. It is also right next to theKimmel terrace which is gorgeous when the weather is nice. I wish I could give six stars. Read more
