With the UN General Assembly this week, getting around the city is tough, painstakingly difficult. My boyfriend and I wanted... pizza to pair with a bottle of wine for dinner and I had no luck with the first place I tried because the streets were blockedoff. Feeling determined for our date night at home after a long day at work, I was on the hunt but considering giving up on thepizza front. I walked around a bit longer searching for another place and ended up remembering this Patsy's location was closeby. They were busy with the dinner crowd and I was unsure of whether or not I should even still try to get a pie at that point.BUT, I walked in and so happy the moment I did. The waitress greeted me warmly with a hello right away, her hands full, makingher way to diners seated at a table. I walked to the rear of the restaurant where the magic was happening in the oven and wasagain greeted by a warm, friendly gentleman who took my to-go order. As I waited, only a couple of minutes thereafter anothergentleman named "Gus" who seemed to be a manager, in a friendly manner politely attended to me. I told him I ordered to-go andhe walked back to check on my order. I had a 20-25 min wait which of course I had no problems with. Gus asked me my name andreasured me they were working on my pie. I was delighted at that small gesture and felt they genuinely cared about me as aperson standing in front of them. Gus also shared he has a friend with the same name and we had a nice little chat. I left for20 mins and came back- and waited another 5 mins or so. The first gentleman and Gus again reassured me it would be just a fewmore minutes. I got my pizza and left feeling lighter on my feet and oh so happy. What an amazing, wonderful, kind experienceamidst all that's going on in the city right now. don?t walk, run to Patsy?s for some awesome pizza and top notch service! the pizza tastes authentic and very fresh, and our... server was just fantastic. another customer was quite rude to her but she bounced right back and provided us with friendly andattentive service. i will definitely be returning the next time i am in NYC. This little gem is AMAZING. I was on the hunt for the best pizza in Manhattan and this place kept coming up on searches and word... of mouth. I ordered a small pepperoni and I was not disappointed at all. The flavor of the pepperoni was excellent, the saucewas flavorful and bright. The cheese had a great pull. The crust was crispy and great! I would recommend stopping wheneveryou?re in Manhattan. I can see why the rat pack had this pizza flown in when they were hungry. Read more
Went in for dinner, meatballs where extremely salty, and the spaghetti sauce was too acidic. The food is over price, and service... needs to be friendly and at least smile. I doubt I?ll come back here. Read more

The food here was absolutely amazing! Pizza was incredible, and the pasta was also delicious! Our server and or the kitchen did... forget my appetizer but brought it out quickly once we had mentioned it, I won?t ding them a star, as mistakes do happen. Woulddefinitely recommend this spot to anyone staying on the east side of New York! Read more
