We came here for a romantic night which wasn’t the vibe/set up of the restaurant when we arrived. This is more of a party with... a friend or for an exciting night out. The music was loud, so be prepared to jam out and have to sit next to each other if youwant to talk at a regular level. The outside set up of the place was nice and welcoming, while the indoors set up was party likebut also welcoming. We went on a Saturday night and noticed there was only 1 server and 1 waiter, which was felt in the service.We got the Bruschetta, lemon chicken, and spaghetti & meatballs. The food was tasty, very well seasoned to reflect theneighborhood where soul food is popular, but a little too seasoned for me. I enjoyed myself with the music and food, and had anok experience. A quick update - there's quite a cozy feel in here now it's winter. Step out and sit down for a warming Italian... dinner! oooOOOooo At last! And well worth the wait! So, I moved in to a new place on 115th St in September 2020 as covid wasraging through NYC. I spotted this enticing osteria but circumstances conspired to keep me away till today. So it was all themore satisfying to tuck in to a hearty dinner "tout seul" tonight. There's definitely a sense of home-cooked food here, a veryfriendly environment, and reasonably priced drinks, making Osteria Laura a tempting local whether you're eating alone or withfriends or family. Loved this place!! Can't believe it took us this long to find it!! Food was well prepared and seasoned right! Both meals were... excellent. Above all it was reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and Laura was so nice and came around to make sure everythingwas perfect! A great family place. Read more
my legit absolute favorite place to eat while I’m in the city. The shrimp dumplings is the perfect app to share or eat alone.... I would usually get the penne vodka, but tonight I went for the skirt steak, potatoes and spinach. YUM so happy with my pick???? Read more
