Came here on the recommendation of a social media influencer and boy is he dead wrong about this place. I?ve never ever had... soggy pan fried dumplings like these. The outer layer was tough and had a chewy like texture. The pan fried dumplings came outof some sort of steamer suggesting that they were already cooked and left in there to keep warm which in fact made them so soggyand not tasty. The contents inside was different from other spots. The wonton soup was in a soy sauce rich soup base which wasnot tasty at all. The wontons themselves weren?t good; A slice of ginger changes the wonton experience and doesn?t taste right.I was truly disappointed. I?ve been to most of the dumpling spots in Chinatown but this spot just ain?t it. These dumplings andsoup doesn?t hit the spot. I have been coming here since high school and this place will always be my favorite dumpling spot. Just perfect dumplings and... the frozen ones to take home are just amazing as well in case you cannot come to manhattan often. Have a fried dumpling craving? North Dumpling has 10 dumplings for $3. The chive and pork filling amount was adequate and the... taste was between ok and pretty good. I picked up a scallion pancake for about $1.50 It is a small round thick pancake filledwith scallions & is not the style that I?m used to (flat) but still pretty good. They can stuff the pancake with variousfillings, if you are in the mood for a sandwich. Read more
AMAZING value! Wow! We ordered 4 things for just $11 and everything tasted great. We got chive and port friend pork dumplings,... spring rolls, chive pancake, and sweet & sour soup. We went right at opening time so everything was freshly made. Do wish thepan fried dumplings were crispy, as they were soft. Read more

My husband loved the scallion pancakes (number 22). The veggie dumplings had a lot of ginger- very very tasty!
