I came here because the menu offers a lot and the prices were friendly. The ambiance was nice and I truly love the way this... place looks. I would not recommend this place. The server took a very long time getting the check to us. Speaking of which, ifyou do come here, bring cash only. When i asked why theres a non-cash total, the employee responded "The credit card companycharged 4% and the restaurant refuses to pay." Leaving the extra charge to the customer. I know many places do that, but theresponse, "the restaurant refuses to pay"... the restaurant, i am certain, makes plenty where they can. Slow service matchedwith scam charges. One of the best restaurants on Roosevelt Island. They have a very large menu, and the service is always excellent there. The... servers are efficient and friendly. Nisi is very centrally located in terms of most of the commerce on the Island, and I've hadmany excellent meals there. Highly recommended! Read more
Possibly one of the largest menus I've encountered. Wasn't overwhelming but definitely had too many good choices to choose from!... The service was fast, knowledgable, and friendly. The drinks were unique, well priced, and more importantly were well balanced.For sure recommended! Came to Roosevelt Island to try the tram and enjoy the cherry blossoms, which was in full bloom. On a gorgeous day, Roosevelt... Island is pretty enjoyable. So enjoyable that you forget you have walked quite a bit and you get hungry. We walked by MainStreet, passed the flea market, and chanced upon this Greek resto. We had the fish & chips, shrimp po boy, and shrimp & grits.They were pretty good & filling. Hearty huge portions????Took a while for the food to come, ergo one star knocked off. There areindoor and outdoor seating, a bathroom for patrons to use. Our server was so nice. We sat there for a while just yapping away,and they didnt shoo us out. They have desserts by the main entrance and we wouldve tried had we not been embarrassed to haveforgotten the time????????????. Come by if you happen to be at RI. Read more

Great food, everything was packed with flavor and service was great as well. We got the avocado burger and shrimp and capellini... pomodoro. The burger was extremely innovative and clean while the shrimp was extremely tender. First time since the remodelingand it did not disappoint. We will be retuning. Read more
Definitely one of the best places to eat on the island. I have ordered, eaten and just popped by for a drink. The staff are... lovely, helpful, kind and quick. The restaurant is such a beautiful and interesting place. They also have grits!!! That isfantastic! Everything here is great. I think it is a perfect place for anytime but I can definitely recommend any of thebreakfast omelettes and bagels and etc. This is one of the perfect places to grab a bite when on the island or to order fromwherever you are.
