We sat outside along the window on a warm summer evening. The restaurant is situated on a quiet, quintessential West Village... corner while inside was bustling and lively. The A/C unit above us dripped water, our server was indifferent and our drinks tookforever, but the food was fantastic. The seafood tower was one of the most interesting that we?ve had, and included crudo andCajun prawns as well as oysters ????. We ordered tinned sardines and steak which was perfectly cooked. The space is small andthe bar seems to have trouble keeping up, but in the end GM was very nice and comped our first round of drinks to make up forthe fact that it took our server over 15 minutes to greet us and 30 minutes for them to be delivered. Had the best meal at Nats on Bank!! I live nearby and have been dying to try it. It was such a fun atmosphere, the food was... amazing, and the service was great too. I?m not usually one to order a seafood tower but it was SO worth it!! The ONLY gripe ofthe whole meal was that the scallop ceviche was already made with cilantro in it. Anytime I hear something is premade like thatI dock a point or two but overall great meal and I?d totally recommend going back there. Read more
Came here for Sunday brunch- they were accommodating of adding one more person to our reservation of 5 and seated us at a larger... table indoors (6 person gratuity included). I thought food was pretty good and vibes were good, fun bathroom. This review ismainly to note that they overcharged for an extra drink and extra $2 on the menu price? I mean at the end of the day it?snothing crazy, but why can?t they just be honest with pricing or maybe count accurately? Hands down- a special place for special moments. Yummy oysters, unexpected small and large shared plates, and life changing... mains recommended and served by Gabriel with class and personality that only elevated the lunch to a new level of dining in thevillage. What a fun place! The seafood tower, bucatini and fried fish were my favorites. The red endive and carrots were also very good.... The baked Alaska for dessert was interesting but didn?t feel like it was anything to write home about. And our waiter, Patrick,was fantastic! Read more
