Nami Nori is a great pick if you're craving sushi while strolling around the West Village. They've got a varied selection of... temakis to build your own set from, so you can mix and match based on your preferences. The ones I ordered were all fish, and Ienjoyed the combination of freshness and seasoning for each. From the Signature tuna poke, which was topped with fried shallotsto give it a crunchy texture on top of the minced fish and perfectly cooked Japanese rice, to the Classic yellowtail withscallions full of lightly seasoned, incredibly fresh cuts of fish. Make sure to ask the staff if there are any specials on themenu too for appetizers. Read more

Had a fabulous experience here. The strawberry sting cocktail was amazing. It wasn’t too sweet and perfect for a summer... day. The crispy calamari and spicy tuna dip were delicious. Enjoyed the signature temaki set so I could try differenttypes. Service was okay, but definitely we not stop me from coming back. Read more

Just an amazing experience and food from start to finish! Staff was super friendly, we sat at the counter which after finishing... I was happy we did because the rolls came out so fresh. Started with the miso soup which was the most flavorful and best misosoup I’ve ever had! My friend got the signature set and I made my own - tuna poke, salmon avocado, tuna cucumber, red crabCalifornia, and everything bagel smoked salmon. The red crab was my favorite, so flavorful. My friend said the coconut shrimpwas her favorite in her set - but all were delicious. Can’t wait to come back. Read more

We had a good lunch at Nami Nori. It’s definitely a fun experience to sit at the bar and eat the rolls as they come out. The... sushi quality was good, but was it worth the prices? Definitely a cool experience, try it out. Read more

Food was good, especially the spicy crab and mushroom. The fish varieties are somewhat underwhelming. Our party had a great... time being seated at the inner most semi-private table. We came around late lunch, and didn't feel rushed though we know it's abusy place. Actually our service was so slow we felt like the waiting time before our meal came by was not very NewYork-friendly. Our server tries to give as much info and attention to us as she can. But just need a little more training, she'll do great. Not sure if the plastic around the nori is really necessary. It makes my table feel guilty knowing how muchplastic is being thrown out after. It also hinders many of us from having a complete roll since it's easy to pull out therice. Definitely giving a star to the interior. Beautiful vibes. But if you simply want good hand rolls, you'll get better bangof your bucks at other places. Read more
