Close to Chinatown and the LES bars is @nakamuranyc with yummy ramen. Honestly it was awesome to have a bowl of hot ramen after... a couple drinks at the bars. Mine was a salty broth with thin noodles, and the other broth that I’ve tried (tonkotsu and yuzu)were completely different but yummy in their own ways. Would come back next time! Read more

I decided to give them 5 since their tsukemen (dipped noodles) was impressive. (reason below) ?????Personally I prefer tsukemen... than ramen so I always get it if the restaurant serves it. Their dip soup looks watery when came out. I was disappointedinitially cause the soup should be thick to attach to noodles. But I was wrong. The soup was tasty, rich with a hint of yuzu tobalance the salty flavor. Noodles were at the right texture, chewy and not too soft or hard. Highly recommended. Just areminder, it’s double portion lol… I took out the rest. However, the yuzu wings was not that outstanding compared to theirnoodles. This is the reason why I was thinking about 4 but 5 eventually for the noodles. Go and try other appetizers and let meknow.. Read more

I can't wait to come back on my next vacation! Billing was so easy with their toast app for the group I went with!

The food is great, the noodle has good chewy texture, the chasu is cooked well, and the broth is tasty. The only let down of... this restaurant is really the services. The server is neither friendly nor welcoming. Could have been a perfect ramen diningexperience if the service is improved. Read more

The service is good, only 5 tables but usually vacant. No restroom. Gyoza is kinda small, but chashu is expected good. Not a... surprising good Ramen, but if you're around and just had Ishida recently, and want to try some different stuffs, yes, not a badchoice. Read more

The service, food and atmosphere were all great! The place is a little small and has no outdoor seating but that made it all the... cosier! Had the Jidori chicken ramen and my friend had the shrimp wonton ramen, with both of us sharing the chicken gyoza andumame truffle French fries as appetizers, and EVERYTHING was delicious! All in all 10/10 would recommend! Read more

I have had ramen at Totto, Ippudo, Roc N Ramen, Hide-Chan, and Ivan Ramen to name a few. Nakamura is by far my favorite ramen... spot. The place is a hole in the wall that is small and cozy with delicious ramen. I recommend their Torigara and Ton Tororamen. As well as their chicken gyoza and calamari when they have it. Read more

I had the Tokyo tsukemen for lunch, and the torigara ramen for dinner the next day. The tsukemen noodle portion is huge, served... cold as I read is traditional, and it's dipping sauce is intense with the yuzu. I took hand strength to pick up and dip thesenoodles. Overall satisfying. The torigara I thought was amazing. I don't know what flavor was hitting so well, but I thought itwas unusually tasty. Parts of the table tops were slightly sticky, but I guess that didn't affect my enjoyment. Read more
