I didn't love the food. The beef tartare was good but not outstanding. The liver mousse was tasty but not unique. The bread... portions were strange given it was clearly not enough for the food given and an odd number of slides for 2 people. The octopustasted great but strange in texture. Late getting us to a reserved table and clearly it's an issue based on the reviews and howskilled the hostess was in apologizing. The decor is clean, and they have a cute waiting area that maximizes for space. Read more

My favorite dishes here include their Mussels on Focaccia bread and their Truffle Oil Manchego Mushrooms (not pictured!). I've... been twice now and both times l've also gotten the Nori Paella, Paprika Octopus, and Ribeye Tartare, all 3 recommended. Read more

Didn’t really like most of the dishes The tuna is under seasoned. 1/5 The chicken liver mousse is sweet which is unexpected in... a bad way???? 2/5 The paella is actually cut pasta so the texture is a bit weird. But overran has great sauce and taste. 3/5 Theoctopus is ok but I like it’s all soft without any crispy part which I prefer 3/5 The portobello mushroom is absolutely thebest on the table!!! Highly recommend it. The truffle oil is awesome and the topping is scrumptious. Read more

Wow, Nai exceeded my expectations. Everything was SO delicious. We ordered: the Spanish mackerel, Patatas bravas, endive salad,... leek quiche, short ribs, and garnacha wine. Each dish had a main feature but the garnishes were some of my favorite parts. Thecandied pecans in the endive salad tied it all together. The garlic mousse that came with the quiche was so innovative, I neverwould’ve thought to make that. The thinly sliced EVOO soy sauce garlic bits were a delightful addition to an already deliciousSpanish mackerel. Everything was divine. My partner said it was the best quiche he’s ever had (i agree) and the short rib wasfall off the bone. I’m surprised I was able to book a table here with lots of open seats day-of on Friday bc it was so good.It was one of those meals that made me feel so grateful that I am able to eat such delicious meals. Only bad part—and this isabsolutely a nitpick—was that the lights were on so bright. It felt like when you’re at a club at 4 AM and they turn thelights on to get you out. Management, lower the lighting please! I feel like by doing so it would complete the upscale ambiance. Read more

I can not express how truly amazed and grateful to have experienced Nai. Chef Ruben and Sommelier Raul have truly invested time... and patience into developing the quality assurance of all guest experience. We held an amazing birthday dinner for my sisterthat went off without a hitch and the staff was so accommodating and knowledgeable about each dish for our guest. Nai is theTHEE go to in New York City and I am extremely excited to try out Chef Ruben’s many other projects in the city and to referfriends for an amazing night out with quality food, beverage and hospitality. Cheers to Team Nai! Read more

Food was pretty good but quite poor in value. Upstairs looks great but downstairs felt like a school lunchroom; ambiance was... awful. Asked if lactose intolerance or allergies could be accommodated and was told the chef is very particular about theirdishes. Cocktails were amazing. The beef tartare would’ve been a slam dunk if it had a raw egg yolk. Sardines were fantastic. The beef katsu sandwich was disappointing given the hype; the pieces are impossible to bite into - requiring instead cutting itup which makes an un-fun mess. The tomate was fun but definitely gimmicky; a must try once if visiting the restaurant but notsomething that’ll be ordered again. Service was alright although the servers may have been stretched too thin to give theproper amount of attentiveness. Read more

Definitely this place exceeded my expectations on every level, usually when I go with friends to restaurants the food is usually... very specific, here they offer fish, meat, chicken, and vegan. And you can mix the options and share! But definitely something Ididn't expect was how good the cocktails tasted! (Also I think they changed the menu) Read more

Overall great experience! Will definitely come back again for more dishes to try. Also recommended to my friends. Each dish is... small but very tasty and we ordered 5 dishes for 2 people plus 1 dessert. The small tomato with jelly is very special and it isa must try! Sea bass with crispy shell is also highly recommended! Love it! Read more
