Tried the original, one size up a snack which was about 9 dollars I think, which I thought was just enough. I'll have to come... back and try this fresh. I waited 20 minutes to eat before hand and it wasn't that cheesy or gooey. Wait times were a bit longbut I'd imagine it's short staff due to covid etc. Read more

Murray’s Mac & Cheese is located on the corner of Bleecker and Leroy Streets. this is a Mac & Cheese joint that has some... sandwich options. the interior is clean and brightly lit. currently indoor dining is closed—takeout and delivery. there’s adigital menu with a variety of mac& cheese options (or build your own), hot sandwiches (grilled cheese varieties) and a fewsalads. there’s a large refrigerated of soft drinks, too. ordered the French Onion macaroni & cheese: rotini pasta submergedin melted fontina and Gruyère cheeses, bacon, and caramelized onions. the flavors really tasted great together. the cheese andbacon were delicious, of course. thought the pasta was fine, but macaroni elbows would be better. the pasta was a bit too thick,tbh. the caramelized onions were more of a scent than a flavor. overall i enjoyed the cheesy carbs bc i got a snack size (8 oz).snack size was $8 + tax + tip. staff was chill. food took like ten minutes. i wish they’d open up indoor dining here bc iwould have love to eat my mac & cheese hot off the stove. What a GREAT experience for my 11yr old. We spent the day in NYC and his one request was to find a Cheese shop. We decided to... LUNCH would be at Murray’s Mac & Cheese and it was excellent! The young man helping us was great! The lobster Mac & Cheese wasto die for! Read more
Went here on a Saturday and the system was down and they couldn’t take credit cards. The cashier was very nice though, we were... able to pay in cash. Mac and cheese was very good. Nothing super spectacular but comforting. Definitely eat it fresh and hot.It hit differently when we reheated it later that night. Read more
The guys at the front was nice ???????? very great customer service the Mac and cheese ???? is ok, I think ???? I can whip up a... better batch of Mac and Cheese however. (Can use a bit more Salt ???? or Seasoning) Nothing to personal ???? and Murray’sCheese ???? next door sells excellent Cheese!!! I’ve been by this place many times before and have been to the cheese store that owns and operates this shop and is literally... next door. So today I finally went in and I was very happy with my experience. The employee was very nice and knowledgeable. Herecommended the classic Mac and cheese and a sandwich (the name of which I don’t remember) omg they were both so good. The Macand cheese and tons of flavour and I enjoyed the cheeses used (the pasta is more al dente, just a heads up for anyone expectingsofter pasta) the sandwiches was very fresh, light, and filling. Alright, let’s start by saying that I have been a really loyal customer for at least a year. The Mac & cheese « WAS »... amazing and excellent, creamy, rich and flavorful. Until today… (Nov 2022) To start, they are making the pasta in advance…and seriously?! They were not al dente at all but overcooked. So please, go back to the way you guys used to make them,fresh! Then, where was the cream?! The bechamel? Where is the melted cheese?! It was tasteless, pasta were overcooked. And fora cheese store you guys should at least try them before selling what I got today. On top of that, the price from the small Mac& cheese went from $6 to $10. So $4 extra for less everything! I hope to go back to the same way they used to do it until lessthan a month ago. Read more
