Tasting menu here was amazing. Every dish was so wonderful. Favorites included the fried chicken with caviar (actually had to... order another portion a la Carte because it was so good), the mushroom amuse Bouche, the scallop, dry aged sirloin with onionsoufflé, and the lemon tart. Also their panyan milk punch cocktail was so light and tasty and their sesame Negroni was prob thebest cocktail I’ve ever had (not too sweet). Would love to come back here!! Read more
Great food and place but a little over priced. Food - omakase (chef's choice) all was wonderful. They made adjustment for us... since we don't like lamb and gave us roasted duck. 11 course meal. I took pictures of menu and posted. The course wereinteresting, but some seemed less substantial like the carrot course. To call them courses is generous. It's really more of atasting. Ambiance - trendy hip. Typical toooooo loud music that the server could not hear our drink order while standing rightnext to us. Decor is contemporary and done well. Dark settng. Cost - expensive. Rating: 2.75-3/5 (Google seems to show this as a 5 star review sometimes), tasting menu with wine pairings started off well,... then were okay with a couple decent plates. The dessert plates and pairings were just bad, I wish there was one good dessertinstead of three mediocre to bad ones and more savoury. Until the dessert I was hungry, then I just was ready to be done. Wentwith friends who said it had been one of their favorite meals in NYC, but that this time everything was worse, service was blandand forgot a few things, the pairings were just wine no other drinks, and the food was okay with a couple great bites. I wonderif they have had a lot of turnover and don't have an experienced palate on the line to check the balance of flavors--each dishwas decently conceived but often executed such that it was overwhelmed by one element.
