Incredible food! Really kind staff with great food and drink recommendations. Absolutely beautiful interior, large enough to get... a reservation on a Friday night, but small enough to feel intimate. Super cozy & cute! The place is very aesthetically pleasing, and it is super cozy and intimate for a great date night or just a... dinner to be one on one with a group. However, the food was unseasoned in my opinion and we didn’t really enjoy our meal. Ifeel like there’s better Italian spots out there. This is just OK. Service was great. They accommodate my 14 yes old niece who wanted some not on the menu.
The only great thing about Misirizzi was how easy it was to lock down a reservation for a weekend dinner. All else was not a... great experience. While I got there five minutes before the reserved time, my friend got there five minutes after. During thatten minutes, a few staffed checked in with me to make sure I was taken care of. One of them who seemed like a manager, wassnarky about it however, asking if friend will show up. It’s literally been five minutes so she needs to ctfo. Not a great wayto start our dinner. When we asked staff for wine recommendations, it was apparent none of the staff was knowledgeable aboutwine. Although we asked for dry wines, the manager brought bottles that were almost the opposite of dry wines. And she startedgetting aggravated after us trying two wines saying that we should just get wine by the glass to ensure that she doesn’t letanother bottle go to waste. Very cute place. Great for a date but also able to accommodate a larger group (we were 6). I had a Hugo spritz and it was very... nice. Some of my friends had an espresso martini and they said it was excellent. The portions are pretty small. We shared theendive salad, the cappelacci with butter and Sage, lasagna, and the steak with potatoes and broccoli. With all the food we stillleft pretty hungry. The lasagna was the delicious and everything else was good. It took awhile for the food to come, and thenfor our waitress to ask us about dessert. They ended up asking us to leave for the next reservation to take our table, which Iunderstand, but when the food and dessert comes out that slowly, then it feels really rushed when you’re expected to pay andleave soon after.
