As a Taiwanese American I'd light to say I have a taste for dumplings. I enjoy dumplings of all kinds. I mean who doesn't love a... tasty filling wrapped in a blanket of flour. I have had Mimi's dumplings on my list of places to try for a while. I ordered theMimi Cheng's Dumplings and their Pork and Chive Dumplings hoping for my mouth to be painted with flavor and joy. However, Ican't say that was the case. The dumplings were good, their ingredients are fresh, and they swear they use the best. But doesthat mean the taste will be the best? For the price that I was paying. I'd be able to get 25-35 pot stickers at smallhole-in-the wall dumpling places in Chinatown and Flushing. While they are not artisan dumplings. They're packed full of flavor,and you can easily get 10 pork and chive dumplings for $3-5 instead of the $15 here. I cannot say anything about their noodlesor other dishes. The vibe here is friendlier, cleaner and a lot more welcoming than your hole-in-the walls. Which after a busyday in the office and you want to sit somewhere nice and enjoy some dumplings. Best dumplings I've ever had. It's pricey but they give you a big quantity. Sauce is on point! A must try if you love dumplings.

I usually love the food here, worth the price for the quality taste. Unfortunately, last week my order wasn?t made properly &... when I submitted an issue, no one got back to me. My scallion pancake was burnt & unbearable to eat, it was never made this waybefore. I wasn?t issued a refund. This wasn?t noticed until I got all the way home. Sort of sucks because I love the food here,but would appreciate If someone would?ve gotten back to me to solve this issue. Read more
Despite having to drive anywhere from 30-45 minutes to enjoy them, Mimi Cheng?s dumplings are without question, the best... dumplings I?ve ever had! They?re incredibly fresh, the portion size is perfect and the excitement of wondering what next month?sspecial flavor will be is hard to compete with. Beware of the packaging if you order takeout! Instead of using solid plastic containers with lids they use paper boxes. My order... arrived in a torn bag, every single sauce container had opened.
