Had the vegetarian lasagna w/ ricotta & spinach and a side of broccoli rabe. The lasagna was -- as advertised -- surprisingly... light with bright tomato flavor, smooth ricotta cheese and just the right amount of garlic/basil/oregano to add flavor but notoverpower. Each forkful had a velvety feel. Broccoli rabe was perfectly cooked -- al dente -- with a bit of vinegar to cutthe bitterness. A restaurant quality meal that did not break the bank. Staff behind the counter was clearly passionate aboutwhat they cook. Highly recommended! I'd eat their food fresh at the tables indoors or out. Read more

Fresh healthy alternative to Italian food. Huge portions and the owners are so sweet and down to earth. They had us taste a few... of their original creations. Thank you again! Read more

Such a discovery! Usually, you don't expect to find healthy food in food courts. And this place actually serves organic healthy... food made with love, which you feel with each bite! We came with a friend to the Essex market almost before closing, so alot of places were closed, except this..... I'm glad we ate here. My friend and I tried two types of lasagna one withspinach and ricotta and another with turkey, also gnocchi with pesto and ricotta tiramisu...yeah we were hungry. Everything wasdelicious! I could eat this turkey lasagna until the end of my life.....sooo good????! The owner Pilar is a very nice lady, who created the healthier versions if Italian food items for their menu, she said that they use turkey because it hasthe least impact on nature. I don't eat pork and try to eat healthy, so this place is a perfect match for me! I definitelywill be back, will recommend to everyone! Read more

Every restaurant should be like them. Not only is the food just wonderful and healthy.... and delicious they are actually a... business who cares about sustainability and the environment. Today I had a meatball sub ( turkey meatballs had spinach andquinoa) and it was delicious. People there are also really nice. Will definitely be going there again soon. Read more

Meatball sub was awesome, meat and sauce very flavorful and quite filling and bread fresh and crisp. The homemade lemonade was... also nice and the people were very friendly. I?d definitely stop by again if I?m in the neighborhood. If you pass by at theright time you can see the comically large bowl of ground meat they use for the meatballs, definitely snap a pic (I was busychatting). Update: dropped by the food court again, got to try the daily special pasta and a new salted caramel panna cotta. Also noted that the lemonade is now in bigger cups. The pasta was excellent; the eggplant was particularly creamy and flavorful. The salted caramel panna cotta is definitely more on the savory side, whereas the original is more traditionally sweet. Ipersonally like savory more but if you have more or a sweet tooth consider the original. I also got a chance to try their veganpesto, which was amazing. While not an exact replica of non-vegan pesto, it definitely fills the same role and has a very richflavor. While they currently don?t sell it separately from the pasta dishes, please do inquire if you like it and I imagine theywill offer it in time. Read more

Very friendly people and fresh homemade food, much of which is made from scratch. I really enjoyed the gnocchi and the pasta... sauce. Edit: I went back again and had the turkey bolognese lasagna and vegan salted caramel panna cotta. The lasagna was superflavorful and very rich, would recommend. The panna cotta was really creamy despite it being vegan (it was made with oat milk). Read more

Very nice staff. You can tell they thoughtfully source their products. I had the signature sub which has turkey, spinach and... quinoa meatballs in tomato sauce with grana padana and pecorino, which is pictured. The bread was delicious and crispy. It?s anice place to grab lunch. Read more
