Reviews for MIGHTY Bowl in New York, NY
I ordered shanghai bowl and the beef surprised me with juicy and wonky taste! It is definitely not the type of steak you would... expect for a salad but the slow stewed one in traditional Asian style. Highly recommended for a quick bite for a work lunch.Healthy and tasty. Read more

I've been satisfied the multiple times I've been there. Most recently I got the spicy Malaysian laksa with chicken. It was very... flavorful with generous portions. Highly recommend it. Another visit, I got their Manila bowl but the crispy pork belly was toodry and felt a bit old. I'd go for their laksa. Their Bangkok bowl was good with a generous portion of shrimp. Read more

It's a nice spring day so I decided to take a stroll around the Midtown area. I turned the corner and guess which establishment... caught my attention. If you guessed Mighty Bowl... ding-ding-ding, you are correct! This place has an interesting decor insidewith fancy lights spelling out the word M-I-G-H-T-Y on the wall -- think "insta-friendly". There was a bit of a line during aweekday afternoon, but it moves fairly quickly. The first station is where you choose the type of base (rice, quinoa, salad) andprotein that you want. They will begin to prepare the bowl as you move to the next station -- toppings. From the way the lineswere set up, the first station moved much faster than the second. After the customer in front of me placed her base order, shewas still standing in the same area as she waited for the line to move. Next was my turn; the staff was ready for my order but Iwas not near the front of that station. So I basically had to shout over the customer in front of me (I probably scared her alittle since she didn't expect it - if you're reading this, sorry!). I went with one of the classic bowls -- the Manila bowl.It comes with crispy pork belly or grilled chicken, chinese broccoli, bean sprouts, scallions, cripsy garlic, crispy shallots, apoached egg, and adobo sauce. I asked for recommendations between the pork belly or the grilled chicken and was told I could dohalf-half, so I did. The first few pieces of fried pork belly was good, but eventually got too overwhelming. Even though I onlyhad a half portion, I felt like I had too many pork bellys. Imagine I had gotten an entire order of it! The grilled chicken wasgood, especially with the adobo sauce, and I didn't get sick of it. Even though I'm Chinese myself, I did not realize chinesebroccoli was actually bokchoy. I'd probably skip the bean sprouts next time since it was raw and bland. I'm looking forward tocreating my own bowl on my next visit. I did see a shelf of take-out orders so maybe I Read more
Great little spot. Gets crowded at lunch but the staff moves the line quickly. Kind of an Asian version of Chipotle. Would be... great if they had a few different veggie options, but the overall food is awesome and really good and healthy. They've gotChinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, and more. A couple bench seats and stools there, food is easy to take on the go as well.Definitely would go back. Read more

Love this place. The Korean bowl was huge, and had It not been my only meal of the day you could easily split it between two... people. The amount of beef in the bowl was quite shocking, and it was juicy and plump, not dry and chewy. The crisp sprouts andcucumbers added a nice crunch to the brown rice soaked in a delightfully spicy gochujang. I got a punch card for the 10th bowlfree, so I?ll definitely be back. Staff were super pleasant as well! Read more
