I got the branzino and while the dish was delicious, the portion was a bit small.. better go for meat next time:)

We were there for a private function, so I can't speak for the main restaurant, but the food was great and the service charming... and unobtrusive. Michael himself was a genial host and with Bette Middler and family eating out there, the joint is clearly wellthought of. The arty vibe was well pitched. Recommended. Read more

What can I say, or better what can't I say? Michael went above and beyond, he served all our dishes by balancing them on his... head, he fed me with my own special spoon. Once I was stuffed, and utterly delighted, swimming in the flavours produced myMichaels eclectic kitchen, he rubbed my belly and sent me off to sleepy land whilst singing sweet sweet lullabies. The worlddoes not deserve this man nor his culinary genius <3 Read more

I went in there for lunch. Great burger, it was a ground up ribeye steak. One of the better burgers I’ve ever had. I was in... there early so it wasn’t very busy. I would certainly revisit this place when I am back in Manhattan Read more

I had the perfect dinner here for Valentine’s Day! Great food, atmosphere and staff all around. Appetizers to dessert was all... delicious. I am not even a fan of Kale but even their Kale Caesar Salad was so tasty; I finished it. I definitely recommend thisplace. Read more

So I came here with high expectations for a client dinner. From the beginning it took over an hour to begin our food order. So... definitely don't come here if you're starving and want a quick turnaround. For drinks I ordered a sidecar and it was madebeautifully. Ordered 5 by the end of the night. The steak was a bit underwhelming and fries plain. The shishito peppers on theother hand was coated in a delicious sauce that I'm still thinking about today. Read more

We had lunch at Michael's and took advantage of the Restaurant Week offerings. We had a 1:30 reservation which we were late for... as it seemed like it took forever to get into the city on Friday. We called to let them know we would be late and were treatedgraciously and thanked for the call. The decor is bright and fresh. We were seated at a nice table that afforded us to view theentire restaurant, including the celeb guests that are reported to often visit. Unfortunately, we didn't see anyone but such isthe case on a Friday afternoon mid-summer. Our waiter was very helpful in selecting our wine. He recommended a marvelousTorrebruna Brunello which I loved. My dining companion selected the Whispering Angel Rose. We both decided upon the SummerChopped Salad with Pistachio and Thai Vinaigrette. There was an abundance of flavors in this salad that we both described as"fresh". Roasted corn, plums, watercress, mint, cilantro all contribute to this incredible salad. At the recommendation of ourwaiter we both ordered the grilled barramundi sea bass. The salsa verde was delicious. We both enjoyed our meal tremendouslyand thought that we were satisfied without feeling too full. We opted to try the dessert as we spied a neighboring table order ayummy looking strawberry and meringue parfait. They also offered homemade gelato which was spectacular (we tried the pistachio). We hadn't realized that the restaurant closed between lunch and dinner until we left. One reason we didn't know was thefriendly staff did not rush us at all. Wonderful experience! Read more
