I thought Lunella was a cute date night spot serving good Italian food featuring a bartender with a heavy hand. We ordered the... bruschetta with tomatoes, carbonara, and trofie al pesto, along with a glass of rose and Merlot. The glasses of wine were verylarge which I appreciated. The merlot wasn?t too dry which I was a fan of. The bruschetta was the best thing of the night, andprobably one of the best bruschettas I?ve had. The tomatoes were ripe and juicy, on top of crispy crunchy grilled bread with anice drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette. The trofie al pesto had a nice chewy and bouncy consistency. The pesto itself was goodbut a little on the creamy side for my taste. The carbonara was good and had a very bacon-y flavor all throughout. Lunella is a cozy, beautiful restaurant where delicious food is prepared. The waiters are polite with visitors and are very... friendly and know the menu well. While I was having dinner with my family, a lot of regular customers came to the restaurant, itwas clear from their behavior. The Caesar salad with chicken was great: the salad was fresh, the croutons were nicely crunchy,the dressing was creamy with a slight cheesy flavor, the chicken was deliciously cooked. My sister ordered Angello alla Griglia.The lambs chops were tender and the potatoes were deliciously fried. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The taste of thedish was amazing, the creamy sauce had a delicate creamy flavor, the shrimp were deliciously cooked too. I'm only giving Lunella4 stars because of the steak my brother-in-law ordered. The steak was very tough. I will definitely come to the Lunellarestaurant many times and will recommend it to my friends and acquaintances. I will definitely try this restaurant next time. Read more
Lovely place in little Italy ???????? we enjoyed the service and food, the gnocchi was my favorite as well as their appetizer... such as the fried calamari, shrimp and zucchini, their hostess is very friendly and helpful with suggestions which wereexceptional. So my friends and I have been to this restaurant a few times before. My best friend and I decided to have our annual galentine's... celebration here. They did such an amazing job with decorating oh, they are so lovely, you feel like family. The drinks, thefood and the dessert are always delicious. Me and my friends had such a great time. Read more
Luella was as authentic as sitting down in Italy and getting your favorites. 10/10 delicious! I left something at the restaurant... and they are going out of their way to make sure I get it back ???? Absolutely incredible food and service. We felt so welcome and part of the family. Everyone was extremely friendly and down to... earth. The food is incredible and authentic and the drinks are classic and to die for. Our vaccine cards were checked and wefelt very safe. Read more
The place is small but it is quite cozy, the food is delicious, I ordered arancini and the carciofi allá Giudia and they were... spectacular, the combination of flavors was Indescribable, something that I found quite curious was that the bottle of wine wasworth 35 dollars, a Montepulciano which was delicious I thought that for the cheap price it would be a bad wine, but I wassurprised to see that it was good!! for the main course we ordered the gnocchi with gorgonzola and it is phenomenal you canidentify the fresh flavors of the homemade gnocchi, we also ordered the prosciutto pizza and It was delicious!! If you are looking for incredibly authentic Italian cuisine and service, Lunella in Little Italy is a must! We recently... celebrated my son?s 12th birthday there and everything was simply over the top. Not only was the food superb, but the stafftreated us like family.
