Very Inclusive environment! CASH ONLY! ( I wish I knew that before I went)! Limited Menu! Food over all is decent edible! I... think the small place n comfort is what really drives the crowd more than the food , drinks, or service. The service wasn’tgreat and I ask for garlic powder, Parmesan cheese on the side and they just didn’t have it and one persons English was alittle off so he brought me fresh garlic slices not garlic powder lol . I won’t be back but I didn’t hate the place! It wasrecommended to me after my original place fell thru and I wanted to stay in the area. So I gave it a chance. Maybe I should havehad just plan pasta sauce Read more

Good energy in this venue! Came here with a group of five friends. The table bread was good, nice and soft not too crusty, but... the garlic bread (which was $8 for one piece) was the same exact bread just with a huge amount of butter and a little parmesancheese added. The lasagna Bolognese was Very very good, as was the veal pasta and the chicken parmigiana. Unfortunately thepizza margherita was lacking in flavor, specifically in the sauce. I feel like for a restaurant to specialize in brick ovenpizza there are only three things you must prove yourself worthy with: a quality crust, a well seasoned sauce, and qualitymozzarella. The crust was on point, as was the mozzarella (I mean it's just cheese haha) but the sauce was missing somecomponents even just a bit more salt during the cooking process would have brought it up to par. All in all it is a good littlespot to visit for Italian food, I just don't recommend any of the pizza necessarily. Read more

This place lived up to it’s hype. It’s quite pricey but worth it. Flavor and quantity were great. The lemon spaghetti was... something new but delicious. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection. The chicken parmesan was delicious. The gravy complimentedthe chicken well. The prosciutto napoleon style pizza was great as well. Flavors were top notch. Customer service was great.Environment is tight but cozy. A meal for 2 might run you $75. Not cheap but worth the first time visit. Street parking only.Easy to get to by mass transit. Reservations are a must. One of the best Italian spots in NYC. FYI: this place has 3 businessfronts combined together. You will highly get confused/lost!! **cash only** Read more

Came here with a few friends and it was a great time. We ordered some drinks and a shareable margherita pizza for the table. I... then ordered the gnocchi w meatballs, and a few other pasta dishes for my guests with another shared egg plant. I have neverbeen a huge fan of egg plant, however the server cutting it open, seasoning it, and cutting it was an experience if itself. Thisdid not taste like an ordinary egg plant and was very unique. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly as well as the meatballs were agreat small little size and was a generous amount in the plate. The service was good and helpful and patient when we were stilldeciding what to order. Would definitely come here again although I would MAKE SURE TO BRING CASH/DEBIT next time I do. Feltlike a college student when we were all forking up cash just to cover the bill but we made it work. Support local businessesespecially this amazing classic place with beautiful ambiance. Great place for a pizza joint in Manhattan. They also have a lot of options for pasta. If you have family visiting in the city I... would definitely recommend bringing them here as it has a very old school Italian vibe and the staff is so nice here. We got apasta and pizza and shared between two people and that was plenty of food. It is a cash only spot last time I went though so Iwould double check before going. Read more

The service was slow. The staff touched my eggs (like finger on it) when he served the food. But still this place is decent to... check out. The French toast was very tasty. And pizza was good too. :) I had steak and eggs and the meat quality was pretty goodtoo. Read more
