Ok, 5 STAR EXPERIENCE. Sawyer was a great bartender, excellent service, and the Drink (Midtown Mojito) was amazing. The steak I... got was cooked to temp, how I ordered it and flavorful. The Caesar salad was literally the BEST Caesar salad I have ever had, literally my new fav. Very impressed with this establishment and staff. Thank you for such a great experience! Read more

Had one of the best NYC brunch experiences here on our recent visit. The food and the ambiance were perfect, the service was... great and the menu had some great choices for brunch. I also loved the seating along the large perimeter windows and thebeautiful bar with brass moldings. The double-heighted space is magnificent. Read more

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and ordered the breakfast burrito. Presentation of food was beautiful and well proportioned for... the price but, the food itself was bland. The service was okay, and the hostesses were friendly. Overall, not the the bestplace- but not necessarily the worst. Read more

Was quite excited to eat here. Left very disappointed. I've been making Shakshuka at home and was excited to taste how the pros... do it. Turns out they severely overspice it. I could hardly taste the tomatoes through the "Spiced Mediterranean Ragu". It was astruggle to eat, and I love a well spiced dish. We were sat by a server station for some reason in a mostly empty restaurant soI had some guy's elbow in my ear for what felt like half the meal. My girlfriend and I drink nothing but diet cola when eatingout. When she asked me to taste her drink because she thought it was off I hardly needed to. It had obviously ran out of syrupbecause it was the LaCroix version of diet coke. The waiter replaced the drink with the same and insisted 'everything is good onour end'. I guess we just suddenly forgot what diet coke tastes like. House omelette was bland, and certainly not worth $24. Iexpect so much more from a place charging ~$30/pp for breakfast. Read more

I?ve been to LB several times, but this is my first review. The food I ordered today was nothing short of snacking! My son and... I stopped in for lunch and they did not disappoint. My son had the chicken breast sandwich and Parmesan fries. I had the WILDMUSHROOM SPAGHETTI with grilled shrimp, which was made with Mushrooms, Oven Roasted Tomatoes, but they tasted more likesun-dried tomatoes, Sugar Snap Peas, Parmesan cheese. The sauce was velvety and seasoned to perfection. I?m not sure what theshrimp was marinated in, but it was delicious?a bit too salty, but the flavor was really good. I?ll have to come back just forthis dish! Read more

Wonderful experience at brunch! So often NYC brunch places are over rated, expensive with pretty mediocre food. Was pleasantly... surprised with the high quality of food and very nice service! We were greeted at the door when we arrived and seated at a nicetable. The place has a cozy European feel with a beautiful marble bar counter. The egg white omelette with caramelized onions, mushrooms and cheese was spectacular with delicately spiced fingerling potatoes and a delicious side salad! And the trufflefries were the best we?ve ever had. The mimosa could have been better but I?m not complaining! Service was polite andconsiderate & atmosphere relaxing. Best brunch ever, would highly recommend and will becoming back! Read more

Really pleasantly surprised. Service was fantastic and friendly. My wife had the French Onion Soup and said it's among the best... she's had. She followed that with the Coconut Kale Salad with salmon substituted for chicken. I started with the CrispyCauliflower followed by the Fried Chicken and Biscuits. All top notch. The only nitpick is they could use a more varied beerlist. I like the dark and malty brews and there were none on tap. There was a Left Hand Nitro Stout in a bottle, but I can getthat anywhere. Settled on a Stella. Read more
