As far as the food goes, it's as good as any other Le Pain location?it's good! The french donut was mind blowingly good, simply... astounding. I had a breakfast with a friend: an omelette for me, a quiche for them. The food was delicious and came with agenerous, delicious side salad. The coffee is bad. The service is good. The reason why I?m putting down two stars is that theseating area in the back is awful. It's a little square room with peeling gray paint, no windows, no decoration, and awfulacoustics. Once it filled up, it was near impossible to hear the person I was with. Either sit in the front, or go to anotherlocation. The dining decor completely ruined the mood. Read more

We stopped in for breakfast and ordered a ham and gruyère croissant, the croque monsieur, and a coffee. It took over 30... minutes to get our food, but when we did get it, it was delicious. The dressing on the salad was extra special and something Ihad not tasted before. The service was fine. The check came to $40. I was looking for a nice place for my morning coffee and found this spot. Only 4 high chairs to seat (or you can step inside for... a full service experience). The waiting time wasn't too vad. They have large variety of pastries. Coffee was good, but acappuccino should not have half cup filled with foam... The chocolate chip cookie was very dry, I suggest to skip it. Thechocolate croissant was great. It would be nice to ask you if you would like to warm the pastries when you are paying for themthough. Bottom line: I will try someplace else next time. Read more
