Reviews for Le Pain Quotidien in New York, NY
My only regret on my first trip to NYC is finding this quaint cafe just a few steps from where I stayed. Their food and coffee... at 76th and Broadway were wonderful. Their service exceptional. But their people were the most pleasant I have encounteredduring my stay. Rajmonda was very timely and always with a bright smile. Hidden jewel!! Read more

Just like Paris, crowed, lovely pastries, good food. Had breakfast here and found it to be very delicious. Staff busy but kind.... Just remember its NYC people , and relax and go with the flow. Not sure why this place had negative reviews. I guess some peopleyou just can't make happy. Read more
Enjoyed a good breakfast: good cappuccino and yummy pan au chocolat. I also had their mushroom and gruyère quiche which was... delicious. Service was good as well. This is my second time here and highly recommend it. Read more
Horrible coffee. Couldn?t finish my iced coffee because it just tasted so bad to me. Added a bunch of sugar and milk just to try... and make it seem better but that didn?t even help. The food was rough too. Both my gf and I didn?t finish our meals (and I?m notone to not finish a meal) because it just wasn?t tasty. The food looked good for a photo but tasted bad! Bread was decent thoughbut much better places to go to if you want fresh loaf of bread Read more
Not going back!. The sandwich was ok for the price and the salad dressing was too bitter that I couldn?t even had it all. The... service was ok not the best. But the coffee, the worst. Read more
Can you believe this is the first time I have ever set foot inside a Le Pain Quotidien? I am not sure why that is but I finally... got a chance to sample their fare at one of their newest location in the upper west side. This new location opened last monthand is on the corner of 76th and Broadway which formerly was the home of Maison Kayser. The space is beautiful, bright, andclean, with white marble counters and blond wood accents. The baked goods are gorgeously presented in the glass case by theentrance. The staff here are super friendly; was greeted as soon as I walked in and made to feel welcome. I ordered the mixedberry tart and a raspberry rose macaron. The tart was fantastic! The berries tasted very fresh, the cream filling was sotasty, and it had a nice crust. The macaron, surprisingly, was just alright. Props for presentation but I wished it werefresher. The bottom portion of the macaron was already soft from being in the case too long. I can imagine this being adynamite dessert when it is from a fresh batch, but I think I came too late in the day. Prices are what you would expect forthe UWS, so for me, it?s a little bit of a splurge but it doesn?t mean I won?t be back. On this visit, I opted for a couple ofbaked goods to go but made a mental note to try table service on my next visit. Read more
This is one of my favorite places, and one of the few that makes excellent and consistent espresso. Pastries are great; there... is breakfast available into the afternoon. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Rajmonda. I often bring friends here. Read more
