Croisants taste weird, like pre-frozen. Tastes like an elevated version of Pillsbury.

LPQ offers a variety of delicious pastries and food which appears to be freshly made daily. I love the tarts and baked... breads Some items are a bit pricey but worth the quality. Read more

So disappointed, I just bought the mozzarella pesto baguette but it was awful, I had to throw it away $13.00 for nothing . The... bread has to much pesto that the bread broke into pieces, it was too wet to eat it. Pls pay attention to it next time , peoplecan?t keep wasting money , I was a regular customer and is the second time that this happens. Read more

This location takes the cake in customer service. Shoutout to Matthew - the happy friendly person on the other side of the glass... counter. I would happily go back to this LPQ even if i have to trek all the way uptown just to get my LPQ fix. Needless to say,LPQ has one of the world?s delicious selection of pastries etc. I have a sweet tooth and grew up with a Mama who can bake likenobody, so I am particular with my pastries, muffins, cupcakes, cakes and all. They have always been on point. Never fails. Anddont get me started with their salads and soup du jour. You wont be disappointed, morning to night meals, if I may say so????.Please dont put so much premium on my photos of their selection. I was bingeing and rushing before they closed for the day. Lookfor Matthew though because he will take good care of you. Drop by and enjoy! Read more

I asked for a sample taste of their lentil soup for a possible take out order. The portion given to me in a tiny paper cup was... minuscule. It had an unpleasant taste, and had so little liquid, most of it literally stuck to the bottom of the cup. Notwanting to sample every soup that they had before I ordered, I decided to order the chicken soup ($9). The chicken soup wasexactly the opposite of the lentil soup. It was about 99% liquid, and the remainder was chicken and mostly vegetables. It was acombination that had very little taste, and the liquid had no recognizable flavor of chicken. I will not be back. LPQ is a ubiquitous bakery all over NYC. It?s French-ish food made for Americans. Everything looks beautiful, but the food is... missing a little soul. However, it is quick and convenient so it gets points for that. Croissants are flaky enough, coffee isfine enough. (However, it?s no Maison Kayser which use to be the old French bakery that was in this spot) Read more
