Awesome lunch, food was authentic and the service amazing - very flavourful. Had the bisteca tacos and the fried banana (don’t... let this fool you - tastes nothing like banana and it’s very tasty coupled with a spicy sauce). Definitely highlight of theday. Read more

Service was slow and horrible. It was so slow we walked across the street to get pizza foe the kids. Water foe our grand baby... took like an hour and asking her 3 times!! Waiter didn’t even ask how our food was or if we needed anything else. People wereleaving without paying from the lack of service there was. Food was cold when it arrived. We ordered the same plate assomeone in front of us and did not look the same at all or have the same amount of food! After I was trying to flag the waiterfor our bill her coworker pointed to us to let her know. She came and served three other tables in front of us. Food tastedokay but not worth the wait or eating it cold!! Drinks were good but again not worth the wait. Go for a slice of pizza atchampions pizza if your hungry! Read more

I came here for a date night as I never tried La Esquinas restaurant down in the basement, I have had the Tacos upstairs which... are good. I had to book this reservation a month in advance. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted. The host’s, servers, andwaiters were all great and friendly! I got a passion fruit Margarita, it was delicious, which was the best of the meal. Theambiance was cool, it has a speak easy vibe. As far as the food goes I was disappointed. We ordered 2 types of Tacos, the crabtostadas, the corn, and the ribs. The tortillas for the tacos were soggy unfortunately, the tostadas tasted like it had cannedcrab. I would recommend as a cool spot for good drinks but not necessarily for the food. Read more

Delicious food with an energetic ambience. Service was good and quick. Tacos were the best and drinks were pretty good too. Was... a little dark and loud so not ideal for talking even if close to each other. Would be amazing if they did guacamole and churrostoo! Read more

I really didn't want to give such a mediocre star rating, but the food was awful. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for... their drinks - they are phenomenal. We ordered all vegetarian dishes and each of them had no flavor, very plain, just overallreally disappointing. I have come here several times for the bar and last night was the first time I tried their food and wasjust utterly disappointed. I wouldn't spend my money here again on the food but would definitely come back for the drinks? Read more

Amazing and fresh flavours. I got the corn (do not miss out on it!!!) chicken tacos and fried plantain, all dishes were very... well executed and seasoned. The hibiscus drink is also delicious and goes well with the food. Staff is very good professionaland welcoming. Read more

I dined in upstairs with the cafe menu. It’s more casual up there than the downstairs which is a more of an outing, with a fun... sexy vibe. The speakeasy/ nightlife is fun and busy. But for the cafe dining… the Elotes (street corn) was my favorite thing.Everything else was just average. Tacos ok, soup ok. I had a horchata drink and tried the coconut flan which were both ok. I’dbe interested in trying the Brasserie menu downstairs which offers a wider variety of dishes. Read more
