If you aren't familiar with the area, all of the Italian restaurants on Mulberry seem both so similar and so different, it's... hard to choose. We went with our gut and chose La Bella Vita. I can't speak to the regular menu, but tonight's specials weredelicious! I had the lamb chops and my sister had the assorted ravioli in marinara. The food alone is worth a return visit, butit was our server Pasquale that made the night extra special. His recommendations for the wine paired perfectly with our meals. He was incredibly kind and personable, and never left us feeling neglected for a moment even though the the restaurant was quitebusy. I can't say I will be a regular as I don't live in the city, but I can guarantee that this will not be my last visit. Doyourself a favor and give La Bella Vita a try! Read more

Today I went to celebrate something very special with mom. Customer service was ok but food was awful ????. We didn't eat it all... and we asked to take it out of courtesy, in the end we threw it away. We paid $180 for a bad experience. The only good thing wasthe wine ???? and the dessert , all was expensive comparing with the quality of the food. I recommend the restaurant managers totry the food beforehand and also check the hygiene of the restaurant since the glasses of water smelled like eggs. Read more

We were a party of six looking for a little bit of a smaller restaurant while in Little Italy. Found La bella. So glad we did.... Had a wonderful experience here. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bathroom are small but clean. Hostess, waiter ,and server werefantastic. Server was spot on with recommendations. Came during happy hour and got $15 off a full carafe of sangria. It was sogood we ordered two!!! Would definitely recommend eating here! Read more

We went as a larger group (lots of kids), and the waitstaff was very patient and accommodating. The food was authentic and... delicious, and they were inviting, not pushy like a lot of the other restaurants we passed. One of the dishes had a lot of salton the shrimp, and they quickly replaced it and described how they fixed it. We never had to ask for refills on water or to haveour empty dishes removed, which was thoughtful and reflects their commitment to providing quality service. Read more

Amazing experience. great food. got the lobster ravioli and it was great. also got lasagna and it was great. I left my purse... accidentally, called and they confirmed they had it. When I received it they handed it over with no problem, all cash, cards, gift cards were still there and untouched. could not recommend this place for the food and honesty more. Read more

Visiting New York for the first time, randomly decided to eat dinner here. Service was great, food was good too. It is a nice... little cozy restaurant, not sure how it compares to other restaurants around Little Italy but it didn't disappoint. Read more
