The nasi rendang was so flavorful! It came with rice, some fried fish topping, boiled egg. The sauce was delicious. The deserts... were unique and I think the menu changes daily so not sure what they're called. - Small café for takeout, 1 small tableoutside - prices are reasonable Read more

I came here at around 1pm, and most of the kuihs were gone. I ended up having these delicious custards instead. The durian... flavor was really strong (which I enjoyed), and the base was moist and fragrant. Such a good gem! Read more

"Nasi Lemak" (8/12:22: I think they prepared this dish well but in the end I don't love the dish itself, which is coconut rice,... anchovies, potatoes, cucumber, peanuts, and egg, 4*), "Kuih set" (8/12/22: 4.25*. They change the assortment every week, so thistime it was "Talam Pandan," which is steamed salty coconut custard and sweet pandan custard, "Sago Mawar," which is roseflavored steamed tapioca, and "Ubi Kayu," which is cassava with coconut milk. Overall, quite good, but a little less sweetthan what I prefer in desserts. Good to get once in a while for a change.) Read more

We were fans of Kuih after visiting Lady Wong which is one of the trendy Malaysian cafes in East Village. Hence, we would like... to explore more spots for southeastern desserts and found Kuih Cafe on Instagram. They open only for three days in a week andposted their weekly menu on their account page so we highly recommend to check out their post in advance. We had their Kuih Set($11) which included Talam Pandan, Sago Mawar and Ubi Kayu. It tasted pretty good with soft & creamy texture as ourexpectation. My favorite was the Talam Pandan which was not too sweet with a little salty flavor. Read more

Not enough people are talking about this place? Exceptional Malaysian sweets (and occasional savory dishes!) here for a great... price. Their menu changes weekly so check their Instagram for their most updated offerings. I ordered a whole pandan layeredcake for my birthday along with some other pastries and everything was light, delicate, not too sweet, unique, and so, sodelicious. Would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys an authentic Asian dessert. Will definitely return? I look forward totrying the savory options too! ???? Read more
