Phenomenal kimbap ever!! This location is a hidden gem in Chelsea Market tucked away in a corner below Pearl River Market, down... the staircase in the basement food court. The kimbap lab is serving up a unique menu of Korean rice rolls. I ordered myself theTuna Salad + Cheddar Cheese Kimbap which came with a side of pickled radish (your choice) and your choice of sauce. The host wasvery courteous, he helped picked out the best sauce for my kimbap which he suggested the Spicy Mustard Aioli and asked for mypreferred drink. When it was time for me to pay my card was not reading, but luckily the place accepted cash. The order wasbrought out to me in no time. Without tasting it, I already knew it was going to be fantastic-- the ingredients look fresh andappetizing. I was blown away when I took the first bite, all the flavors and textures complimented each other. The portion isquite hefty and will leave you satisfyingly full. I highly recommend anyone who's visiting the Chelsea area and is looking for aquick bite to check this place out. I had the bulgogi Kimbap. Its taste was fantastic. The accompanying sauce adds a lot to the flavor as well. Although it was a... bit more pricey than other places that I have gone to for a Kimbap, I still think it's worth a try. Read more
