Beautiful ambience and great date spot! Ramen was huge portions that neither of us could finish. Love the neon glow in the New... York late night. Prices were decent for Manhattan too. Highly recommend! Read more

I love the Ramen here. This tight knit and cozy spot can be uncomfortable to enjoy a bowl of ramen but the presentation and food... quality is to die for. Come at night and enjoy the neon red glow bounce of your ramen bowl and table. Karakatta serves us whatI like to call one of NYC?s best ramen spots around. Yes, their bathroom can be cleaner and yes they should limit squeezing inpeople who lack awareness of their surroundings with their oversized purses and backpacks. The decor is great, service is greatand the serves are super friendly. The ramen price point can be just a bit high but you won?t be disappointed while you indulgein a bowl of their ramen. Be mindful of the soup base you get they are different in texture and thickness. I recommend the porkbroth which sits perfect with their scallions, noodles, egg and protein option. Read more

Karakatta is near the Washington Square park in NYC. We heard a lot of good reviews about this place from our friends. The place... is extremely small with about 8 tables for 2 but the ramen is very good. We started with the Karrage Chicken (which is almostour staple at any ramen place ) which was delicious and a ramen with Chicken broth & protein. The food thing about this place isthat you can specify the spice level with all the ramen being at spice level 1. But surely worth a try when near the WashingtonSquare Park. Read more

If you?ve been to Mr.Taka?s Ramen, this is their other location for spice nerds. They have great ramen for spice addicts. We got... the Spicy Tonkotsu with Lv2 spice and the summer special Kimchi Hiyashi Chuuka mild/Lv1 spice. Both were amazing and flavorful. Will definitely go back again :) Read more

Really cute little place to stop to get a bite to eat. The store is small but very cozy and the videos and art are really... pretty. Food was super good and filling for the amount you get. Definitely will o Go back when I?m in the city next! Read more

Just ok. Tonkotsu broth was unremarkable, no personality, extra spicy had no heat, $3 for an egg is annoying. Service was good,... but it's really about the ramen and I wouldn't do that again. Read more

One of the best Ramen if not the best! Pork belly buns are always amazing, and the ramen never disappoints. Our server was very... friendly and attentive. My only complain is having, who I believe could be owners/admin, take over 2 tables when they only have2 tables for 4 (or 4 for 2 ppl) for their personal use. I feel they could have moved their work elsewhere. While we wereenjoying our amazing meal they were also fixing one chair the entire time. A bit annoying. Besides this, I highly recommendthis place for ramen! Read more

The most delicious and flavorful ramen I didn't know I needed on a cold December day. Being able to modify the spice is... wonderful for those times that you might want just a little less than normal. The pork made my taste buds dance, I could haveasked for a hundred more slices. Read more
