Came here during vacation— I had a great time with a small group of people. Inside seemed very cute but definitely cozy. We... hate outside; it was actually a better and more intimate experience in my opinion and private. Food selection felt small; butthe options available were delicious. Staff was attentive to detail, very nice, and just augmented the overall experience. Iwould recommend this place; consider making reservations. Read more
Amazing place to eat by NoHo - really enjoyed the brunch. Fantastic menu with lots of choice of food and drinks. The indoor area... is cozy but there’s a really great outdoor seating area with friendly staff. Impressed by the selection of small bites forbrunch like the pate. The tuna salad with egg was amazing. Limited, uninspired menu… and the execution is all pretty underwhelming too. Go for a decent burger and fries. Skip the rest.... Great wine and cocktail offering. The tiny dining room - cramped even for NYC standards - worked when this space was the iconic,orange clad Great Jones Cafe. Now it just feels claustrophobic. Read more
Super solid execution on every dish we ordered. The staff was super knowledgeable and attentive without coming off too strong.... Fresh ingredients, great grapefruit palomas and heated outdoor cabana. I will def be back jolene. We ordered: -Zucchini Babaghanoush with crackers. This was so freaking good and loved the crackers they put on the side. This really got the partystarted. -the head on shrimp which was like a shrimp Cocktail with more flavor. The shrimp were split in half which made eatingthem easier, thanks chef ! - the roasted carrots. I loved the roasted chickpea, chili and red onions that were sprinkled on topso generously. All of these things came together so well. This is a solid veggie side for dinner or even app ( we ordered it tostart but I wanted more for my Milanese that came later lol) -beet salad- Perfectly cooked beets with saucy additions. In love.Period. - the bread. Of course they have great bread and of course we re-ordered twice. -clam toast- I loved the super greensauce on this dish. It was like herbaceous yet still bright and was the reason I needed more bread - short rib brisket. This waslike a meatloaf on steroids with the right char marks on the outside and right texture inside. - chicken Milanese- wowwwwww, weordered everything to share and this was everyone’s fav. Once again, the level of execution here is clear when you ordersomething done wrong so many times like a Milanese but not this time. You gotta order the Milanese. You can’t go there and notdo it. I used to come here when it was the Jones and was so happy to seeing this place stays strong after it became Jolene. Staffs... were friendly and professional, daily special was fantastic(one of the most delicious tomato salad that I had), all theappetizers and small dishes were good as well as entree(fried chicken). Perfect place to take a date. Cocktails and food are amazing! Get there before 6:30 and the $18 drinks are $10 bucks. The staff... were so sweet and happy! We didn’t have a reservation and got lucky, they squeezed us into a tent with 1 hour and 15 minlimit. They work with you here! They have a bar too if you don’t have a res. They have small menus for dinner and it’sperfect because it means they only use fresh ingredients. You can taste it in their food, pro: great, fresh quality and con:things run out. The little yurt tent eating area. It was cool there was an Alexa and it was decorated like an Eskimo tent with furrs on the chairs and chill vibes. Inside was cozy too Dolly Parton pics up, modern chill vibes. The burger is the thing toget here. It was gone when we got there. The apps are the best, we got the beets with this green sauce and they were crisptender, the sauce was creamy tang of heaven. You have to get the crochets so crunchy and gooey inside loaded with flavor. Weboth got the chicken and it was good but very salty. Amazing time all in all I recommend! Read more
