This was our favorite meal on our New York trip! Everything we ordered was delicious. The Toro Ssam bap with the Hokkaido uni... add-on was the best thing we ate that week! The truffle scallop was a close second. The fried chicken had a very crispycoating, and juicy and tender inside - and of course caviar just elevates this dish! The Miyazaki Wagyu ramyun was good, but thenew Crab ramyun was our favorite out of those two. It's been a few weeks and I'm still thinking about how good that meal was! Read more

I went to Jeju Noodle Bar with my family and it was a great experience. Although we've been to this restaurant in the past, it... looks like they update the menu from time to time, so it was definitely worth visiting again. The staff was amazing; everythingwas served quickly and they throughly explained each dish. A couple of highlights out of what we ordered: The fried chickenwas delicious-it was crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. It came with yogurt based sauce and some caviar. Oneof my favorite dishes was the toro ssam bap. It was very delicious and yummy. We tried a new dish, the Ja Jang style ribs. Itwas very juicy and soft. My family really liked it. We were all saying we wanted to try it again soon. It was one of the bestribs we?ve ever had. The wagyu ramen was great as well. Since the meat comes undercooked, you can cook it in the broth to yourdesired level of doneness. We also tried the family style ramen. The broth was very tasty and deep in flavor. It was a moreaffordable option on the menu for anybody looking to experience Michelin star cooking without the extremely high price tag. Allin all, if you have an opportunity to get a reservation at this restaurant, you should visit right away! You really can't gowrong with any of the items on the menu. One note is that you should make a reservation prior to visiting. We have seen somepeople turned away because they did not make a reservation. Read more

As this is a Michelin star restaurant, I was expecting smaller but denser dishes, but this place has much larger portions than... other Michelin restaurants I've been to, so be careful not to over order. I went with a group so we had 3 appetizers along withentrees for each of us. Everything was cooked just right, with the ribs falling off of the bone and the squid with just theright amount of chewiness. The truffle appetizer was surprising as it had a tangy kick from the pickled radishes. Entrees werealso surprising with unexpected tastes, but in a good way. Staff is friendly and the ambience has music just loud enough tolisten to, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation. The only downside is you'll need to get reservations with a groupahead of time as you can't walk in, so grab some friends to join you. Read more

We had a very nice experience at Jeju. Great service and the atmosphere was trendy and buzzing, but not too loud. We enjoyed the... Toro Ssam Bap appetizer the most - really unique flavors and they had a special uni from Japan that day which we added on.Wrapped in seaweed, it was perfection. The wagyu ramen was also quite good but was overshadowed by the appetizer. The trufflecold ramen was sort of like a cold milk truffle latté - the first bite was yummy but after a few it was a little too muchtruffle liquid. Quite heavy. In any event it was a nice experience and recommended if you're looking for a relatively low keyMichelin experience. Read more

Went here in December of 2020 and the food was amazing. All the dishes were extremely thought out with obvious attention to... detail. This changed the way I view noodles. It?s mind blowing how they are able to take what most people thing of as ?simpledishes? and transform them into art. Read more

If this were a regular non Michelin restaurant with a bit cheaper prices I'd rate it hands down 5 stars. But it is a Michelin... restaurant and as such 4 stars suits it. The service alone was amazing. The staff were attentive, friendly, and answered ourquestions along with advising us we might have ordered too much. The most amazing part of the meal for me was that the head Jejuchef (Chef Jane who is featured on a YouTube video) personally delivered a few of our appetizers and took the time to explainthem to us. It helped really make the meal that much better. The appetizers were the best part of the meal and would highlyrecommend trying a variety from the menu. The noodle dishes were pretty darn good but at the same time there was nothing thatstood out in them that struck me as amazing. The soju was really pricey (for soju standards) and had some.... Interestingflavors. The hand sanitizer at the door was a nice touch from the host but it did end up making my hands smell which distractedfrom the meal every time I took a bite. Overall, a good restaurant to try out. There's room for improvement but that's a goodthing because it means I can go back later to see what has changed. Read more
