Please DO NOT go here! The reviews are misleading. I went with a group of friends and we were so disappointed. The lady there... was so rude and disrespectful. From greeting us with a rude demeanor, saying she didn?t have a lot of cookie flavors ready andnot even specifying which ones she did have, telling us she wouldn?t heat our stone cold, hard cookies, to telling us to stepoutside to wait and then locking us out as soon as we had barely stepped outside. Then telling us if the cookies aren?t thetemperature we wanted, to go to a different branch. She was busy speaking on the phone instead of working and continued to callmy friends and I annoying for coming in as if we were interrupting her conversation. Read more
I placed an order on the 22nd of September from the Macdougal street location to have a box of cookies to be delivered to my... daughter on her birthday 23rd September at 11pm EST. The order was not delivered and I contacted the store at 1120 EST. Thestaff there first could not locate the order and then when they did they said it was being delivered by Postmates and showsdelivered. We explained that it was not delivered and they said they could not contact the driver as it?s a separate deliveryvendor. I explained that we did not order through Postmates we ordered directly through the Insomnia cookies website. But thestaff member did they didn?t have enough delivery staff so they use Postmates and now there is no way that tjey could contactthe driver. Given that they used Postmates without our asking they should have been able to contact the driver. She hung up onme. I called again and she told me she could only give me a refund but could not do anything else. She hung up on me againafter quickly saying have a good night. This is after I had explained that these cookies were for my daughters birthday and thatI ordered direct from them. This was a horrible experience and getting a refund Simply does not make up for the rudeness anddisappointment for something we had planned more than 24 hours in advance. Read more

Cookies are alright but the personnel should be fired. We tried to get cookies at three different locations because they were... supposed to be some of the best in NYC. Two out of the three times the doors were actually locked IN THE MIDDLE of openinghours. The people inside were obviously hanging around on their phones and looked at us like we're crazy for even thinking theywould have cookies. In an absurdly rude tone we were told they were just "baking new ones" and that they would "unfortunately beopen again later on". Half an hour later the doors were locked again.
