An unexpected diamond amongst the surrounding pubs and bars! We walked by it and assumed that it would be only ok food, given... that the exterior looked a little uninviting/unimpressive. Don't be fooled by the book cover! Cos this place holds true to itsroots and I was brought back to Italy! Real authentic wholesome Italian food, from appetizer to desserts! Best Italian food we've had in years. This place is a hidden gem. A cozy little nook with friendly staff and top notch pasta. We... had a saffron scallop starter that was super full of flavor. Haven't been here since the Pandemic hit, but we are soo glad we stopped by! Giulio was amazing. Treated us like family from... the min we walked in. The food was exceptional. Honestly, everything we ordered was out of this world! They made my trufflefettuccine in front of me AND my banana dessert! Just an amazing night! Thank you for the wonderful experience! 12/5 Sunday night, waiting for 45 minutes for our 1 spaghetti after finished 2 appetizers! And the waiter said "you're not the... only one here, we have many customers!" to point other tables when I asked. We're the 3rd table to arrive when we got there. Iwas with 5 years old girl and the other tables said to my daughter "she was so patient." when I left. I saw they've paid thebill even though they arrived later than us. Food was just so so, service was rude, the wine glass smelled like stink. HORRIBLEexperience! Read more
