Four stars for the interior design. It’s my first time here. I tried their restaurant week menu. I would say it’s a great... place for beginner Japanese cuisine enthusiasts. Read more

This was our first time trying Omakase on the west side. We are very well acquainted with sushi, so we recognize top quality... when we see and taste it. The quality here was very good and the staff was very nice. Our kind server even explained adifference and process of filtered versus unfiltered sake, which I was quite unfamiliar with for a long time. The interior isalso super cute and very well-kept. I found that the Omskase as well as the à la carte options were very reasonable for upscalesushi. We will definitely be there again. My only hope /wish is that they were open for lunch. However, given the neighborhood,I can see why they reserve their fine dining until dinner. It’s off the theater. In any event, I highly recommend this forquality sushi! Read more

I purposefully visit sushi places in NY often, so I consider my judgement very neutral and thorough. I've studied sushi for past... 10 years and I consider myself a sushi epicurean. BUT this place is straight up the WORST sushi place in NY... Not even to mebut to all my friends with less sushi experience.. 1. Worst quality uni... Cannot believe they are actually serving that tocustomers... The visible texture of fresh uni is no where to be found... Stale and too fishy.. 2. Too much vinegar on the riceand the rice was too hard. Maybe try using different rice. 3. The sushi chefs do not even have the basics... They put too muchpressure when they are molding the sushi/rice and overall freshness of ingredient is meh.. I cannot believe I paid $108(without tip & tax) for this meal. They are literally robbers without a gun. I won't even come if it was $20 per meal. Iactually cant believe anyone wrote positive review on this restaurant... Whoever the owner is to this place, please take my wordinto consideration and please please make improvement in your sushi. Read more
