Worth the 1 hour wait, they text you went table is ready so we went on a quick walk. Our waitress was amazing and... friendly. They do make you take your hat off , Wich is fine. Man sushi good ribs good. But my French dip was out of this worldgood. I want more today. ???? Read more
We went on a Saturday night - a very early reservation because we were headed to a show. The artichokes are out of season right... now, so not available (not a complaint, just letting people know who might expect them). I asked for shrimp cocktail. Theserver returned a few minutes later saying they were out of shrimp (perhaps a supply chain issue? It was 5:30 on a Saturdaynight). My husband asked for blue cheese on his salad. Again, a few minutes later the waitress returned saying that was notavailable. What we did get (ribs for him and french dip for me) was very good - just a caution to be prepared that they may nothave what you want, so be flexible. Unfortunately, and not really the fault of the restaurant, was that my view was the man atthe table directly across from us who spent most of his meal talking on his cell phone (not quietly) and shoveling food in hisface at the same time. I know it isnt the fanciest restaurant (but still nice enough that we chose it for our 40th anniversarydinner) but a no cell phone conversations at the table would be great. Used to going to Houston's when visiting Florida and fell in love with the grilled artichokes they serve seasonally. Was... ecstatic to find that Hillstone in New York was run by the same people and also served them. Finally got to stop in recentlyand was not disappointed. Nice dim and classy atmosphere. Waiter was very attentive and polite. One of the best Cesar Salads I've had, ribeye & mashed... potatoes were good. Spinach and artichoke dip I didn't eat but my friend did and she liked it. Prices are slightly high and wisha few more options were available on the menu. I still enjoyed my meal and time there. Excellent service, good taste, above average prices, good portions, classy atmosphere and environment. Came here with a friend... to dine in, place is dimly lit even during lunch. Had the artichoke heart and the roast chicken, both tasted good, might wantcrispier skin on the chicken but nitpicking at this point. Overall a pleasant meal as expected. Read more

Our food was excellent - it?s always so consistent. Our server Brody had such a great personality and made our dinning... experience extra special. The veggie burger is to die for and the sushi was some of the best I?ve ever had! One last thing?you can never leave without enjoying the deserts- the apple crumb and the brownie are both amazing! Loved the food and the staff... only issue I had is 2 thing from my order was wrong. Hey one was ok as got an extra sushi roll,... but disappointed I didn't get the Hawaiian steak I ordered. What I got was very tasty but not what I ordered. Other than that itwas excellent overall. Read more
