Just a favorite location which I don't get to frequent as much as I would like to. Ownership and staff are as cool as ever. Very... recently held an alumni reunion there and it was a huge success. Both the ownership and staff were extremely accommodating toour group needs. Which helped to make it a memorable experience and enjoyable evening for everyone in attendance. The place is very strange for the beer bar as a regular beer bar. Long, sort of railroad stile, but bright and very hip space.... With one-table-outside space and small backyard garden. Most certainly not dive bar. Very expansive, beer glasses very small,food options very limited. But. Beer is really really good. Beer here is like a act of art. Very small amount could fill youremotional needs very fast. Besides good beer - excellent vibes and very positive bartenders. This is a pretty cool spot. They have an outside area in the back to enjoy your drink. The inside is nice with I think two... television. I was able to watch the game and enjoy my drink. I did not taste the food. That's a pretty cool bar food options.They had vegan options too. The staff was cool too. I will be looking to come back again. Read more
This is honestly one of the best beer spots I have been to. I am from San Diego Ca, North Park to be exact, so yes, we know... beer. The beer is amazing, the food is amazing and the staff is beyond nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place, good jobHarlem Hops for what you have created, we will definitely be back again. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the music that was playing inside didn't reach the outside patio, and I think... music always completes the mood. Great variety of beers. Very clean establishment. Read more
Amazing and welcoming spot! Nice chill vibes, staffing is friendly and really take their time to make you feel welcome. Food is... tasty and the drafts are rich and unique. The spot represents what Harlem is about and I’m personally proud of them to dosuch great job! HIDDEN GEM ALERT! While most people get excited about all the shopping down the block, we were over the moon about Harlem hops.... Quality, craft beer, developed and black owned. The woman who (very patiently) waited on my husband and I gave us valuablerecommendations that ended up tasting DELICIOUS. Also the note their pretzel bites and dipping sauces were top notch. I was in the neighborhood and spontaneously stopped into Harlem Hops. I was lucky I did, because I had one of the best... conversations about craft beer in a long time. If you are lucky enough to meet one of the delightful barmen/entrepreneur named,Roger, you are in good hand and are no doubt in for a splendid day or evening. Roger is the Real Deal and quintessential beerconnoisseur. Needless to say, he really knows his stuff. Further, the venue has a nice atmosphere and the garden in the back islovely.
